I was getting my car worked on at the dealer nearby so had to kill some time. Very friendly service that served food faster than... most fast food places these days but food tasted amazing. No complaints whatsoever. Considering the price of everything thesedays, only a few dollars more than a burger king combo got me a fantastic burger, fries and drink.. I'd recommend this placeanytime. We were really impressed with the cleanliness of this place first thing! The statue of the lumberjack and the water mill were... nice additions for us tourists? selfies! The coffee was good and the portions are lumberjack size! An honestly huge amount offood for the price! The food tasted heathy and not overly greasy! Our server was one of the most friendliest we?ve ever met andshe is one of the originals from when the restaurant opened 18 years ago! WOW! 3-7-22 Came back and this time we had a great server. Theresa was very friendly and made us feel welcomed. Food was good. We... left feeling stuffed. I would come back. The food we ordered was all good. Portions were huge. I could definitely share aplate with my husband next time. The price is decent. Food was out pretty quick and hot. From 2 to 5 pm they have early dinner specials for 7.99. I had the country fried steak with gravy, mixed veggies and baked... potato. It was the most tender country fried steak in have ever had. Delicious, great. Price and value for what you get. Read more
A bit busy on a Sunday morning, buy we still were seated pretty quickly. Wait staff is super friendly. Very rustic feeling, ... we loved it. My only noticeable complaint is the rips in a few booth seats. Coffee is great, in my opinion. Just a slightbitterness at the end. I drank it black. The breakfast food is in huge portion sizes. Acacia was a very kind waitress and helped out with my special dietary needs. My pancake was perfectly cooked all the way... through with great flavor. Most places I order it it's raw in the middle. The skillet platter was very good and well cooked andseasoned with good portion size. The only disappointing part of both meals was the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were verydry and the white gravy was not as yummy as it looked. The coffee was served very dark compared to most restaurants watered downversion .The restaurant and handicap restrooms were very clean. I was happy to see they had dividers in place between thebooths. Very nice restaurant to take friends and family to. Overall much better quality of food than some other restaurants intown. And the staff seems to be happier than some other restaurants in town. Read more
