Reviews for Wisteria Twig Cafe & Tea Room in Red Wing, MN
We had a reservation with a group 12 for lunch. There was a fairly substantial wait for food... somewhat understandable, but... then one member of group was not served until 20 minutes later while tables around were also served their food. Extremelyawkward. No explanation given or any acknowledgement made. Most of the food ordered was decently portioned, thoughnoticeable differences in size of similar sandwiches. Some attention to detail and customer service wouldn't go amiss. Itwill be some time before I considered going back. Read more
this place is super cute!! i rolled in with a couple rowdy friends who have never been to red wing before. we got the sugar plum... fairy tea and it was AMAZING! not too sweet but not too strong. the strawberry cream cake was my favorite!! the prices arereally reasonable for a tea house too. our waitress was really nice! 100% recommend, ill be back (and be a little quieter nexttime lol) thanks for making our afternoon!! This is genuinely the worst tea I?ve ever had in my entire life. It?s saccharine while at the same time not being sweet enough... and their sugar options are terrible. You?d be better off drinking Starbucks or boiling grass in water at home. I love tea (evenLipton is fantastic) and they?ve made a mockery of it. Absolutely ridiculous. Plus they sell overpriced sandwiches. Read more
Super cool spot that you have to check out! I ordered tea and a scone, both were delicious. My group also ordered tea,... sandwiches, and other food all of which they loved. Service was friendly and the vibe was really great. Can?t say I have everbeen somewhere like this and would love to come back one day. Read more

We loved WT from the minute we walked in. The atmosphere was so warm and inviting. We had high tea celebrating our birthdays.... High Tea consisted of 4 wonderful courses. All delicious! The teas we sampled (2) were so flavorful. It was a delightfulexperience and I've already booked again as a treat for my sister's birthday. Loved the purple walls! Read more
Found this by accident whilst my husband was in Hospital in Red Wing?. As I?m English I got very excited to find a tea rooms... locally?. My first impression when I walked in was?.. ohhhh this is so cute? Sat down to order only to be told they need 24 hrsnotice to order a high or low tea?. Disappointment number 1. Excited to find they actually have Yorkshire Tea? (I?m fromYorkshire) the waitress looked suitably unimpressed?. A pot of tea was brought out , it was luke warm so asked for hot tea. Alsono milk, only half n half (ugh)?.Disappointment number 2 I ordered the Curried Egg salad sandwich which was absolutelygorgeous?..!! 10/10 . it was accompanied with a bag of Nacho Cheese Doritos :( The scone was very good just plain, no fruit, had to ask for butter. The jam was good. The Devonshire cream was not?. It was sour cream sweetened with icing sugar (powderedsugar)?. Absolutely terrible, and dare I say it false advertising?? Disappointment number 3 I would come again just for thesandwich? It was a cute place, but definitely not authentic, to this Brit and I probably wouldn?t come back for the high teafor the reasons I listed. My poor waitress must have thought I was a right pain in the arse?.. Read more
