Reviews for Liberty's Restaurant & Lounge in Red Wing, MN
We stopped in for dinner on a Friday for the fish fry buffet. The fish/cod and ribs were great. The staff and service was good... as well. Limited selection for the buffet and was not impressed with the flavor the dessert selection. They didn't have anyfruits plus the veggies/greens were limited to salad bar which was iceberg with a few slivers of carrots and little choppedgreen pepper. The buffet was $14/15 a person. Read more
70 dollars for trash food my chicken was over cooked. Kids spaghetti wasn't good at all tasted like canned sauce Alfredo was... nasty. Salad was soggy. And Mac and cheese was from a box. Service was amazing though our waitress was superb. Hopefully mydog will eat this chicken If I was the owner I would be ashamed of myself for letting that over priced trash get to mycustomers. Been there twice and had pizza both times. Pizza is great!!! Huge menu, and been with a couple of other guys and they enjoyed... the different food they got also. Portions are big!!! Well worth the stop. The mini motorcycles hanging from the ceiling inthe bar are way cool Read more
Very good meal, very good service, good prices. Very pleasant and efficient waitress, and being a Sunday on Labor Day weekend at... 1:00, it was busy. Food came right away and was hot. Nice family place. UPDATE: Was there yday with a buddy for lunch;(10/06/21) 1st time since it was rebuilt. Same great tasty and hot food. Great service. And , we couldn't even tell it wasrebuilt since the "accident"! Looked just like the "old" Liberty's! Two thumbs up! 5 stars again! Mark Hrubetz Read more
My wife and I visited this iconic Red Wing establishment on a beautiful fall Saturday at around 1:30 in the afternoon. It was... great to see how well Liberty's exterior was restored after last year's terrible accident, which nearly destroyed the building.I was glad to see that the interior looked familiar, and aside from new carpet and chairs seemed mostly original. Our food wasa mixed bag. I ordered spaghetti with meat sauce, which came with 2 pieces of garlic toast. The pasta portion was huge: Icouldn't finish even half. The noodles were cooked properly, but I found the sauce to be a touch on the bitter side. The garlicbread should have been crisp and firm, but instead it was soggy. My wife's cod was well cooked - flaky and flavorful. She had abaked potato which to me was small and a touch undercooked, but she was happy with it. Service was slow. It took over 30minutes for our food to arrive after ordering. We ate at the bar and had prompt and pleasant service from the waitstaff. Overall I'd say this visit was slightly disappointing, but not so much that we'll stay away. I'd give the visit 3.5stars if that were possible. Read more
It?s not often I give five stars. We were hungry and wanted breakfast. We stopped somewhere else and weren?t serving breakfast... so they named Liberty?s. They were busy. That?s normally a good sign. We were greeted by our waitress Alison. She was extremelypolite and soft spoken and friendly. I orders the River City breakfast. Sounded like a skillet covered in hollandaise. I orderedpancakes with it. Cakes were so yummy and not huge which can be too much. The breakfast was AMAZING! My hubby ordered a chipotleturkey sandwich. He lives his sandwich. Alison was helpful just the right amount. It was crazy in there but she kept her cooland provided excellent service. The room was pretty messy but it was busy. Definitely will be back. Made such a big impact onme. Read more
Only ok, slow to get food/pizza from kitchen, server said a bunch of delivery pizzas were ahead of us causing an almost hour... wait(???), attentive service. Pretty much same level of pizza as anywhere else, will probably try another place on next visit. Read more
