The staff was very friendly. The salad and seafood bars were exceptionally clean and well-maintained and the food was always... fresh. We went on a Friday night to the seafood buffet. This was our second visit, with the first being shortly after theyopened in late 2021. NYE, I believe. The salad bar was good, nothing exceptional, but clean and fresh. The seafood bar wasmediocre at best. Most of the seafood was deep fried, everything except the pesto shrimp, lobster mac and cheese, and lobsterbisque, I believe. The fried items seemed to be standard frozen seafood items available at any grocery store; a step above fastfood. The pesto shrimp tasted like frozen shrimp doused in a very strong pesto. I?m not sure if the lobster bisque was madein-house, but it was no different than the tubs you can buy at Sam?s. The lobster mac and cheese was okay, rich and heavy, not alot of lobster, but okay. Overall, if the seafood buffet came with a price tag of $15 or so I would consider it a reasonableprice for the food quality. I absolutely understand the increased costs that restaurants are dealing with right now, but I alsounderstand that consumers are dealing with increased costs, as well. At $25 per person, the money could be better spent on muchhigher quality food. That?s just too much money for mediocre (at best) food. Read more

Really enjoyed our meal here. Sampled some new appetizers from the kitchen they were sampling. Salad bar was well stocked,... tomato bisque was delicious and wife's salmon was really good. I had the gulf shrimp and was impressed with six very large andtasty shrimp. Good value for solid food. Read more
We went to Fable?s for the first time for Mother?s Day. Ashley E was our server and did an amazing job! She was very friendly... and attentive. The food was delicious, especially the tomato bisque soup. The owner, Joe, even dropped by our table and showedgenuine interest in our satisfaction with our experience. From the wonderful atmosphere to the incredible menu to the talented wait staff....this place has impressed me every time I step... foot in it. Joe has carefully crafted and incredible menu and has a staff to back it up. If you find yourself in the Red Wingarea, check his place out in the lower level of the historic armory. Joe and the staff will not disappoint. I have been ableto entertain friends from different echelons there and even have a romantic evenìng with my lady. Live music on certainnights, and a wonderful atmosphere, makes it a jewel in this town. Try it out. It will change your view of fine and casualdining. Read more
My wife and I enjoyed a traditional St Patrick's Day meal at Fable's. GREAT flavors and plentiful servings! Well stocked salad... bar came with the meal. Popped in on a Wednesday...First time eating here this evening w/my daughter. I hadn't even heard of the place until last... week(thought it was still Marie's). My daughter suggested we try it as we usually dine out of town. We shared the fettuccinebolognese and each we had soup n salad bar. I'm always leary ordering pasta at certain restaurants...because I'm usuallydisappointed and underwhelmed by a mediocre, blah, pasta dish, wishing I'd ordered anything else...I kept my expectations lowand was blown away by how flavorfully delicious the bolognese was...hands down best pasta dish I've eaten this year and theaccompanied bread was toasted perfection to sop up that delicious savory sweet sauce. We also ordered the soup and saladbar...WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED!! ???? Seems Fables aims to please...it had everything! Everything was so fresh, well stocked andvery well kempt. This day they had homemade cream of mushroom soup and I'm a soup maker & lover. This soup was so satisfying Iwent back for seconds...a velvety, creamy broth loaded w/ savory mushrooms galore. Was the highlight of my night????lol. Service was great too...server was attentive, friendly, and very helpful. My only complaint and it's not really acomplaint...the music was a lil on the soft, mushy side... perfect if you're on a date(maybe lol)...not a bad selection just alil too melancholy for me. But it didn't really matter because the food was superb ????????, that is what we showed up for. Iwill definitely be spreading the word and be back to explore the menu deeper.
