There was a time years ago when we stopped at Glenn's for breakfast. They had a buffet probably a brunch set up and they had... eggs Benny. I quite liked them it was very nice. Before and after that we had/ have been to Glenn's a few times but were neverimpressed with the meal. We were in that neighbourhood yesterday and I convinced my wife to try them again. Well she is havingdifficulty coming up with suitable adjectives for her omelette and hash browns. I had bacon and eggs (over medium) shredded hashbrowns and toast. When the waitress asked how it tasted, I hooked an egg with the corner of my (very nice) fork and held it upfor her inspection. She offered and I accepted replacements. They were the same. The hash browns, I'm sure had been cooked earlyin the morning. I think that may have been the first time I have ever left bacon on my plate. The toast was good. And all thatfor only $42.15. Had the western pan scrambler and I found it awesome! The server was always offering more coffee where sometimes getting a... refill is as difficult as getting a raise at some restaurants. The atmosphere is also a nice experience. Yes I live in RedDeer and will drive to gas alley to go to this one. We'll worthwhile. Read more

I insist on stopping here every time we come through Red Deer. It was a tradition with my dad before he passed away too. It has... such a unique, welcoming atmosphere.
