I ordered the prime rib sandwich and it was such a great meal. I asked for it prepared philly style which was $2 extra but well... worth the price. It comes with fries or a different choice if one would like with a side of horshradish and Au ju. The waitresswas very friendly, checkes in plenty of times as well as came back to get refills without anyone of us asking which was verynice of her. I even left with a Strawberry Rhubarb pie! $14.99 is not bad at all for a homemade pie! Too bad I live 1.5 hoursaway! I will definitely return when I am back in the area! Read more
Tried the fully loaded baked potato soup and the deep fried cauliflower (I've NEVER liked cauliflower!!) BOTH WERE AMAZING!! So... much that I make some deep fried cauliflower at home a week later!! Me, my husband, and my mother-in-law always come to Shari?s every now and then. Average local restaurant, not bad for the price.... Yesterday we were served by James, I believe he?s new here at Shari?s, and his service was great. He was extremely friendly andwelcoming. Even showed the diners a magic trick. I liked Shari's Cafe and Pies. The food was good, I split a T-bone steak meal with a family member. We ordered a medium cook... (which I normally don't order anyway, I like a more rare, medium-rare cook), but my relative and I both thought the steak wasmore cooked than a medium. It was still very good, however. The seasonings were delicious! Another relative ordered a clubsandwich, and they were pleasantly surprised to receive 4 large club sandwiches. Finally, we ordered two slices of pie, themarion berry cheesecake, and the chocolate cream pie. Overall, we much preferred the marion berry cheesecake, but the chocolatecream pie was still delicious. I was a little disappointed by the size of the pie, they weren't very large, but I can't rememberhow much each slice was, so I'm not sure if it was a reasonable price or not. Bridget was outstanding! So on point! The eggs Benedict with the tomatoes and avacado are to die for. I grew up with Shari's... but haven't been to one in a decade and my wife had never been to one. Lunch was great, service was super-friendly and quick enough. Club sandwich was on a Parmesan-crusted sourdough and too big to... finish. Husband?s burger was reportedly really good. Took a couple of pieces of pie to go. Only points off were for kind ofsoggy fries - they weren?t bad, just not fantastic. Good value overall! Read more
