Spontaneous decision to grab lunch here as I walked by. Nice vintage diner with a simpler menu focused on the right stuff. Had... the Cuban sandwich with the Brazilian press coffee and they were both really good. Tom, my waiter, was awesome too. It's beena while since I have witnessed an exceptional waiter. Always a great spot to stop in for breakfast or lunch. In our party of two we had the kale salad with a poached egg on top, and... french toast with home fries. They have many options for those of us dining gluten-free, which was great to learn. Fantastic andfriendly service. Looking forward to returning and trying some gluten-free pancakes! Not only was the food amazing but Cathy was an amazing waitress. She had plenty of helpful suggestions about what to order and... overall was so pleasant to chat with. She is by far one of the friendliest waitstaff I have ever encountered. I am not from thearea but Toast is a wonderful local business that is worth supporting. Definitely worth the trip.
