Not my first place to try in Red Bank. Wanted something different though. Pleasantly surprised! Amazing? No... But I had a... quality meal with a very good mix of options to choose from that met everyone's needs and it didn't break the bank. Don't getthe stuffed chicken. It's two cutlets with the 'stuffing' all towards the middle. However, the lasagna, Milanese, and a fewother dishes were good. Can't say enough about how helpful the staff was (Jennifer) and how enjoyable our meal was. I had out of town guests and needed... an intimate table for 14! They arranged it with no hassle. Everyone commented on the quality of the food and how refreshing itwas that they didn't have to yell to be heard! A great evening! 5* review. Read more
My husband and I both got specials. Perhaps that was our mistake after living here for years and never hearing anything great... about this place. Food took extremely long to be served (about 45 minutes). Bread and olive oil was hot good. It is BYOB. Myhusband thought his dish was okay, mine was basically inedible and it was tortellini. The owner tried to give us another dishbut we declined. Go to Buena Sera for Italian. We had to go down the street for pizza as the food was basically inedible. Nowonder we have lived here for years and never once had anyone recommend it. They tried to held us hostage by holding our creditcard saying they would make us more food when I didn't feel good and just wanted to go home. Read more
Good Italian food. We were a party of 11. I enjoyed the fennel salad, spicy meatballs, and St. Joes’e pasta. My husband and I... shared our meal. My daughter loved the Bolognese and fried mozzarella balls. Other family members got the black ink pasta butthe pasta was too al dente. It needed to be cooked 1 -2 minutes more. This is one of the best restaurants in Red Bank. The ambience is amazing. The service is excellent and friendly. The food is... amazing. We recently had a party of 20 and they did a phenomenal job. We did family style and the food was excellent. And therewas more than enough for everyone. I highly recommend you visit this restaurant. Read more
Had dinner there on Sunday. The staff was friendly, attentive and fast. The food was amazing. It's all clearly fresh and made on... the spot. Nothing frozen or packaged at this place.
