Their beer is out of this world. I have yet to have any of their food. We go antiquing in this area on Sundays and occasionally... come here in the afternoon, always forgetting its jazz brunch. Myself and family had a wonderful time at Saucony Creek Franklin Station Brewpub. The food was excellent, fairly-priced, and the... craft beer "flights" were amazing. Service was prompt and super-friendly; the physical space is beautiful and historic, harkingback to the glory of the Reading Railroad. (We happen to be railfans so an extra-special thrill was in store for us when aNorfolk Southern locomotive passed by on tracks near to our outdoor table). Beautiful place the Ambiance fantastic converted train station. The bathrooms were well kept and had Essentials for women along... with lotions very nice touch. The host very friendly. The beers were excellent. The food service was very slow. I ordered chicken and waffles from the brunch menu, which was a little... skimpy on the chicken. Also, I was expecting batter fried chicken instead of breaded fried chicken. The server was veryfriendly. The outdoor seating was nice and allowed us to keep an eye on our mountain bikes since we had just come from Mt Penn. Read more

Nice find in Reading. Came to Reading for a walk in the woods to Witches Hat. And then, our reward was craft beer and food. We... found Saucony Creek appealing, especially since they are in a historic building. Wide selection of beers to choose from (meaningmore than only IPAs). This is a good thing for us as we enjoy pilsner, lagers, and wheat beer. Food was spectacular, and also awide range of cuisine. They also make their own ketchup. Parking on site as well as outdoor seating area with a couple of games. Read more

Housed within a beautifully perserved train station you will find a friendly atmosphere with a great selection of beers. Food... menu is a bit limited as far as selections but food is very good. Friendly and courteous staff. Live local music. Great place torelax, sample some different brews, and have something to eat. Maybe if you are lucky you will catch the train passing by thestation also. Read more
