We just moved to Ohio from Missouri. Which one of the things that MO is know for is our BBQ, so it'd be hard to beat. We... realized this going into the restaurant. The little bit of the "burnt ends" that I got had very good flavor. But "burnt ends"aren't even on their menu. The honey BBQ sauce wasn't good, but the mild sauce was delicious. The helping sizes weren't big atall, but was enough for me. My husband ate again when we got home. ???? The ice cream was enormous in size, but not the best. Myhusband's chocolate shake didn't have enough chocolate to it. We'll visit again ... but not for ice cream. Read more
Oh so tasty tender smoked turkey, it melted in my mouth. The creamy red skin potato salad was delicious the potatoes were cooked... just right. The mac n cheese had a smooth texture with an oh so yummy cheese taste. Can't leave out the Texas beans. One biteand it took me back to my days in San Antonio. I will be back. Price was good. My wife and i love this place after only 3 times working our way thru the menu. Ice cream and scallop potatoes are to die for... but everything we've had was good too. The only small critique i would have is the meats need to be hotter. Though they arestill very good they are luke warm at best. This would be a five star review if i had to blow on it to take a bite. If meatscame out steaming this would be the best restaurant in portage county hands down. Read more
