It appears run down place until you walk into the room. The room I stayed in was very spacious and neatly arranged. Stayed there... for a night, and it was relaxing. Howard Johnson is taking over this place. So, am sure improvements are coming. Read more

Paint peeling in bathroom. Looks like Wyndham recently bought this property and has done nothing more than buy pretty colored... Indian blankets for the bed. Food was like a tv dinner and over priced.I spent a lot of time in the bathroom from the dinner. Westopped for the banner that read Howard Johnson by Wyndham... very misleading. Sorry..one star. If I were you I would keepdriving. Read more

I travel alot most of the time I arrived a little late when restaurants are open so I try to get a good meal and a few beers I... was so happy to find this palce were the hotel and restaurants was so accessible the food was great and the hotel itself was ok.But I did not appreciate the customers are not treated equal I ask for a last beer 3 mins before closing I was refuse but acustomer that was sitting next to me was served, I left a note saying exactly that I realized that I had misplaced my room cardcame back in and the manager or owner were laughing with the client about me... very unprofessional instead of treating peoplethat come from out of town with respect I will make sure that any of the travelers that works in our company come this placewill post this in fb as a place not to stop when you are in New Mexico. Is all about respect and customer service. Read more

Didn't find anything wonderful about this place. Check in was slow. The older man at desk didn't even acknowledge me. They... advertise a continental breakfast, but none was available. They did take $10 off the room for that and we ate at the Dennys justa block away. The grounds were not well kept in areas and the ramp leading into the office/restaurant did not feel safe to me.It was very bouncy and I felt like I could fall as I do not have good balance, even with my cane. The room was large and cleanbut the bed was so high I could hardly get in it, and I'm pretty tall. There was a heavy table between the wall and bed! Not agood place at all. It was too heavy for me to move. I ended up kicking it once but thankfully I didn't hurt myself. It wasn't aclean looking town and probably would bypass this town next trip. Only would stay here again if nothing else was available. Read more

Didn?t stay at the inn, but the food was delicious! The salsa was extremely fresh (made just before it arrived at our table) but... it did need salt. The queso and guacamole were absolutely scrumptious and the Colorado burrito was fantastic. Their applechimichanga kept me coming back for more bites, even though I was absolutely stuffed! Our waiter was also very kind andaccommodating. Read more
