The nautical decor is fun, colorful, and charming. The staff was attentive, pleasant, and fun. Both the kitchen and the bar... served us promptly. Rich, our server, was excellent even with a full house. We even got to meet Uncle Vinnie! He shared with usthat this is family owned business. The food: the oysters were fresh and delicious. The calamari was crisp but not chewy. TheFlounder Francese was covered in a delightfully thin yet flavorful batter with an golden sear. The lemon sauce had the perfectamount of lemon. The fish was cooked perfectly. The pasta was sublime. I highly recommend Uncle Vinnie's. Read more

Such a perfect spot for a delicious Italian and seafood meal. Came here for the first time this summer and not only was the... service incredible, but the food was amazing! We had penne vodka with shrimp and linguine with clam sauce. This place fills upquickly because it's small, but totally worth the wait! Read more

Had an early dinner on my own here this past Friday and it was a good experience. It's a smallish restaurant but was still... surprised to find almost every seat occupied at 4 in the afternoon! Noting the interactions between the host, waitstaff, andamongst patrons, it quickly became clear that it's a locals' favorite. First impressions were that of the old school seafoodplaces I've visited in Sheepshead Bay & Bayridge Bklyn decades ago. Decór is basic and understated; it's all about the food andservice. Beer tap list is short but glad they offer some craft beers. Had the blue crab claws cocktail for app with an IPA andhad the red snapper w/scallops for main course w/a glass of house Sauvignon Blanc. Both plates were very fresh and delicious.Tasted like I was having dinner at a seaside town enjoying the catch of the day. Haven't had a cannoli in years because mosttend to taste like overly sugar saturated failed attempts (even from Italian bakeries) but figured I was in the right place totry one... curiosity wasn't disappointed. The shell and filling struck a nice balance in sweetness and you could actually tasteother ingredients; not just pure sugar. It paired nicely with the flavorful cup of strong but not bitter coffee. The prices areon the higher end but the experience nicely reflected that. While it's unfortunate that over the years there have been timeswhen foreboding looks and attention have been directed my way while visiting a packed restaurant and being the only non-whiteperson, there was none of that nonsense here. The waiter and host both made me feel very appreciated as a patron and I didn'ttake this lightly especially during these tense times. A warm, cozy atmosphere, great seafood and service await anyone visitingthis little gem. Read more

I hit up Uncle Vinnie?s for a quick meal before headed home and had the most wonderful experience. The vibe is welcoming, the... little necks were spicy and delicious, and the Scallops were caramelized to perfection. Such a cool and laidback but hustlingvibe. Dying to try their raw bar selection. Next time! Read more

Fantastic. Great marinara and the only place for quality Oysters in the area. Had the penne with olive oil and garlic. Not... sure how you make something so simple so good but they know how. The staff is very nice. And i believe Uncle Vinnie is whoseated us and he is super nice. A NYC/Boston vibe without the traffic. Best to go on a regular weeknight. It does get busy. Read more
