Let's just say this is magic pizza made by a magic man! Hands down worth 2 extra hours in the car, after coming 1400 miles (from... Colorado). Enjoy your vacation and good luck to your son in baseball! You reminded me of pizza I haven't had in almost 30 years. This is my #1 pizza ever! Read more
Truly the best pizza in the area. As Dave says, there?s absolutely no flop, it?s super crispy and totally worth the drive. I... tried the pepperoni and Buffalo Pies too. The cheese pie was honestly the best one. The Buffalo could use more chicken and moresauce, the pepperoni was alright. But the cheese pizza was amazing. Highly recommend for everyone to give it a try. Read more
We visited DeLucias after the ?Famous? one bite 9.4 rating review by Dave Portnoy from Barstool Sports. We arrived 10 minutes... prior to opening and there was already a line outside to get in. The location is small but has that vintage pizzeria feel whenyou enter with the wood panel walls and the scent of years of pizza cooking inside. The staff is very friendly and they doaccept credit cards but cash only for shirts/souvenirs. We ordered a pie and it took about twenty minutes. The pizza cameright out of the brick oven and it was hot! What makes this pizza so good and unique is the crispy bottom layer of the pie andcrust. The sauce is very good with lots of flavor. In our opinion the pizzas only downfall was the cheese. First, it wasn?t alot of cheese and also the cheese isn?t that rich mozzarella cheese that stretches with every bite. The cheese is good, but, Iwould have preferred more and rich. Overall a good thin and crispy pizza with a tasty sauce that you would expect from a brickoven pizzeria with many years of experience like DeLucias. Read more

I placed an order for a large cheese pie around 5:20 and was quoted a pick up time of 6:30. The store front is unassuming and... parking is available on the street. Be advised the lot across is for the Quick Check and liquor store. I was inside at 6:30,there were a few tables seated and about 2 parties in front of me for pick up. When you walk in you can see the pizza oven quiteclearly and it?s evident they?re churning out pies. When I checked in, I was informed it would be a few more minutes, and I wasalso able to overhear that pizzas orders at 6:30 would be ready for 8:30. I appreciate the honesty, transparency, andorganization? you can tell that there was thought that went into accommodating how they handle their orders. I got my pizzafresh out of the oven and bee-lined to the car to try it out. I let it sit for about 5 minutes, since I figured I would burneverything on my face if I tucked in immediately. First impression? the pie is definitely cooked more and darker than most piesI?ve had. The cheese is well cooked and the sauce is abundant. When I pulled my first slice, there was no cheese pull, but thecrust maintained its shape and was firm. The crush was crunchy, well cooked, the sauce is a bit on the salty and tangy side, andthe cheese is over done by the slightest amount, but this all worked very well together. I had an overall good experience withordering, picking up, and the food. Looking forward to ordering DeLucia?s again. If you?re in the area, and have some time tokill, order and enjoy! Read more
Photos and the reviews don't do this place justice. After trying 895 times to place an order, I finally got through and it was... absolutely worth it. I ordered the plain and the pepperoni with the Mike's hot honey and both were awesome. The way the cheesealmost gets charred without destroying the flavor while adding to the crispy crust and undercarriage of the pizza is awesome. Ifyou don't like pizza well done, this may not be the place for you. But if you actually like real pizza, then take the time andmake the trip. The time and wait is completely worth it! Read more
I?m a foodie travelling with work, I get the opportunity to sample different cuisines and cultures. I was greeted by Christian... and His team of friendly staff. I looked at the menu but couldn?t decide as I have a taste for spice. I explained this andjust left It to the team to feed me as long as it wasn?t a massive portion. After a short wait I was presented with a deliciousthin crispy pizza, nice crust, sausage, jalapeños, chilli and the usual culprits giving a good balance of taste withoutexcessive grease from salami and cheese. For a special that?s not even on the menu I thoroughly enjoyed it, classed as smallit was too much for me so I had to eat the topping and leave some of the base just because of the quantity. If I lived localand had the ability to reheat it I?d have taken half away?.. Overall I see why this business has the footfall as it?sreputation precedes it. Would I recommend it?. Definitely just to experience the infusion of wood into the delicateflavours??. I ask myself why what I ordered wasn?t on the menu but selfishly I?m not sorry, these folks have smashed it, farbetter than I?ve had in Italy!!!! Generations of experience reflect in the quality of food presented. Go and experience, goodquality food. Thanks Carl Read more
This pizza rivals only the original Frank Pepe and DiFara. The owner and staff were beyond kind and welcoming. The pie itself is... as near perfect as you get. Crispy from center to crust. The high heat brings the sauce and cheese together perfectly and thepepperoni adds just enough spice to the slice. Read more
