They seem to be short-staffed. The server was a young pregnant woman who did the best she could but was managing at least eight... tables at a time, the whole time we were there. It's better than the last time we tried it. We waited 20 minutes to be seatedand finally went home. The food sat in the window too long and everything was lukewarm. I'm not sure that they grilled themushrooms for my steak at all. We've always been big fans of Perkins. This particular store has been a little bit of adisappointment. Read more
Waited almost 10 minutes until was acknowledged by waitress after being seated. We were only the 3rd table in the place. She... said nobody told her we were there; however, she looked at me twice. Was getting ready to walk out when she finally came over totake our order. After receiving our food, she didn't come to see if we needed anything or how our food was. Only reason that Igave 2 stars instead of 1 is because she was nice, apologized for the initial wait, and food was fast. Also, floor was filthyand bathroom was gross. Service was actually great considering the staff challenges they have. The reason for the lower star was the cleanliness of the... area we were seated in. Rear room , front mid table. The light above the table had dead bugs in it and there was gum on the wallabove the booth. Food was good but need improvement on the cleaning. We weren't the only ones to notice. Read more
Ist time doing a drive thru. These folks did everything spot on. The grounds and comfort buildings are beautiful and well kept.... The animal experience was extraordinary. We had to keep your eyes peeled in order not to miss a lounging animal. Well suppliedgift shop and snack bar. Great family outing dont miss it if your near Rapid City SD. Read more

The interior is welcoming, warm, and inviting. The establishment itself is aptly situated, as it is in proximity to many... businesses that daily consumers typically utilize for daily needs. The food is quite decent, but the bacon was a bit off themark and overall the food could have been bolstered with a bit more seasoning. There are a multitude of options on the menuthough for the entire family. This was my first time at this location and my first time in quite a while at Perkins in general. The establishment has a Cracker Barrel atmosphere minus the wall decorations and the accompanying gift shops that CrackerBarrel is known for. The menu prices are very comparable to that of Cracker Barrel as well as the energy that is reminiscent ofthe good old-fashioned restaurant establishment experience. This establishment also offers pie by the slice or whole pies thatare made on-site. Pam, our server, was absolutely top notch, as she checked on my guest and I frequently and always possesseda humble, welcoming personality and a warm smile that is infectious. With a bit more seasoning and a better bacon product, thisestablishment would improve immensely from a culinary standpoint. But the service is memorable and the food is not far off themark, so I will be returning again soon. Read more
