If I could give no stars I would. They don't deserve 1 star to be honest. Took my family here to try for the first time. Little... did we know we had to sit ourselves. Honestly they need a sign that states that because it can be confusing. The server seemedto be irritated, and annoyed. When she asked if we were ready to order and we said no but had a question, she stormed off andturned around rudely. Once we ordered and received our meal, they forgot to cook my daughters food and forgot hashbrowns whichthey turned out burnt. If you like cinnamon rolls I suggestion not ordering one from here. The one who received was hard withlittle to no frosting, to be honest it tasted like it came from the store. I was not impressed at all. From all the pictureswe've viewed on their reviews, I believe they have 2 different menus which they give out accordingly to the customers. Theydon't give out free refills, you have to pay full price for another drink which is ridiculous. Out of the several ma and parestaurants we've been too, never did we experience this. They may have "cheaper" prices but tax you out of the wazoo. Tip forthose that have never ate here before... keep track of your prices for each items. They tax each item individually withouttelling you until you pay. Also, the receipt did not list everything you pay for. Which is very shady and seems like therehiding something. We spent well over 70 dollars for a family of 5. When we could have spent that amount at Denny's for morefood. Read more
Stopped for breakfast at Morning Side Cafe. The food was good. Eggs were cooked as requested. Bacon ???? was good. French toast... was good. He tried their chopped ham, scrambled eggs, & hash browns. He liked all of it. Read more
This is the very definition of a mom & pop place. The staff is the friendliest around and your coffee mug will not go... unfulfilled. This is a popular place and doesn't have a lot of seating, so you want to get their early, especially on theweekends if you don't want to wait.The food was not that great in my opinion, but I know that the locals love it. The coffeeisn't bad and I would give it two stars, but the staff makes up for it and I know they are working hard. Morningside Cafe is one of the last, if not the only, restaurants left that feels like a hometown diner. The decor is John... Wayne, the food is AMAZING, and the prices won't make you ask your boss for a raise! It's what I remember going to as a kid! DidI mention the food is next level?! It's like Grandma's kitchen on a Saturday morning!!! Do yourself a favor and grab some goodfood and keep a small business going for hopefully many years to come! Read more

Great breakfast spot. We did have to wait a little bit for service because it was Sunday morning and super busy, but once we put... our order in our food arrived quickly. Best breakfast in town! Small mom and pop restaurant with a variety of breakfast options for a great price! All staff is... friendly and attentive! Very filling too!
