The first time eating here was on Mother's Day! The food took a little longer to come but that's expected for good quality food.... The customer service was amazing. Everyone was friendly and nice. When we received the food it tasted amazing, the prices weregood and the sizes was bigger than what we expected. My husband ordered a burrito which turned out excellent and the size wasbig. It was filled with meat. My kids loved the salsa and chips. We ended up taking home left overs. I highly recommend going tothis Mexican restaurant!!! Read more
We arrived right around the normal time for “dinner rush” but it was a Thursday…honestly wasn’t too busy. We got seated,... received chips and salsa, waited about 10 mins before our server came to us asking for our drink order. We ordered our drinksand our meal at the same time (since we had plenty of time to look the menu over). Received our order after about another 10minutes, which was nothing spectacular. I’ve had better Mexican food from Taco Bell. Our server never came back to check on usafter receiving our food. We both finished our meals, sat our empty plates and drinks at the end of the table, since we nevergot asked if we wanted a refill or anything and waited yet again for about 15 mins before someone came back to ask us “ifwe’re okay”. We asked for our bill which yet again, takes a while for us to receive. This place is decent at best, Idefinitely won’t be coming here again. The two stars I’m leaving is being generous. Also not to mention, dead insects in thewindow sill next to our table. Read more

We moved to rapid city last year. We have been looking for a authentic and good Mexican restaurant. Tried so many of them but... just wasn't like back home.. until we where told about this place. Let me tell you the BEST and the closes to back home.. foodis delicious..season very good.. and the prices are very fair.. I recommend this place if you are looking for REAL MEXICAN FOOD.. This is what I call worthy of your time and money place!! The atmosphere is very nice with lots of room with music playing... overhead. The place is very clean and orderly which is a pleasant bonus when it comes to food places. The food was deliciousand well-priced for what you got! The staff is extremely friendly and courteous to your needs. I could go on and on about thisplace. There are no negatives, only positives here:) When you come here your family! Right outside of Rapid City is a hidden gem of a restaurant called Mexico Tipico. They have a vast menu including vegetarian... options and options for kids that are not Mexican food. The Pina Loca (pineapple with meats & veggies) is a favorite! The MangoFish and guacamole salad is also a favorite...warm mango slices on the fish, veggies in this delicious white sauce...melts inyour mouth! The food is divine! Love how they bring out the salsa in a container that you can pour into your own bowl. The salsais so well blended, you can drink it. Margaritas almost the size of your head.
