Great place to stop for lunch or dinner. Awesome pizza, everything is made fresh. Had the tater kegs to start which were... amazing. Also had the meatball pizza. Homemade dough, great sauce and wood fired. One of the best pizzas I've had recently. Service was top notch in a laid back relaxing atmosphere. Tables at the front and on the patio have a great view of the lake. Highly recommended! Read more

This was our first summer visit to ME to see family. Our last dinner we decided to dine here because I remember it being a BnB... the last time we were here. Lovely outdoor seating- though we couldn't seat the entire family together 6 adults and 4 children it worked out fine. Everyone loved their dinners. The kids had the pizza (delish!) I had the Mahi Mahi with potatoes and thezucchini (which I don't normally like as a fave veggie that I devoured!) The rest of the fam ordered the chicken piccata and anapp which they loved and the drinks were yummy! What a view at sunset! They had a super cute truck that looks like Mater fromCars that the boys adored. If we visit during the summer- we will def stop by again!! Read more

Great views. The adult tater tots are a signature dish. Skip the nachos. The wife said the pizza was just ok. The pork chop was... very good. I would go back for the view, the tots and and a few cold ones. Read more

We ate on the porch,, it was a beautiful late afternoon. The restaurant was beautiful and the wood fire pizza oven...... amazing. My husband started with hard cider...unbelievably yummy! 10/10 I tried the house made blond beer. Light, slightlyhoppy, and smooth. 10 out of 10 I wanted bacon wrapped scallops...they were out. Had maple rubbed chicken wings. Crunchy &hot. 10/10 We split a dinner salad of mixed greens. Cool, fresh and crisp. No iceberg lettuce. 10/10 Ribeye, ordered med.rare...it came med. well, which made it tough, but flavored with compound butter on top: was fantastic! Too good to send back.8/10 Mashed potatoes were "smashed" potatoes with chunks and skins. Very good with the steak. 10/10 Veggie wassquash...tasted like acorn squash. It was mashed with a slight sweetness. Very good...but smashed spuds with mashed squash abit too much "mashed" on plate. I would suggest pan frying small chunks to provide variation. Overall, 9/10 Staff wasattentive, polite and friendly. 10/10 Over all...I would highly recommend this restaurant. I would definitely go back. Read more

Sept. 30, 2021 - Trivia Question . . . Who might know the original name for Rangeley Lake? ( answer forth coming) If you?re... hungry for good pub food/homemade pizza you might stop at the Furbish Brew House! Several of the local restaurants open at 3 or4 pm. . . This brew pub opens around noon! Beautiful time of the year to drive through the Rangeley Lakes area in September &October, surrounded by mountains decorated by autumn?s colorful array ! Owners Chris & Beth Smith purchased Harry A. Furbish?s1912 home, and opened up a brew house in 2019. Love the historical home with a new purpose. . . good food, home setting thatoffers brewed beers and a nice view of Rangeley Lake! I give this a solid 4.60 ! ( 2 suggestions later ) Our party of threeCovidmasked up as we walked into the dining area ( at one time the living room). Morgan our server introduced herself, andhanded us the menus. . . She was busy attending to every diner in the room. Tough times in Maine eating establishments, findingenough servers. Morgan moved quickly, just be patient in our current Covid reality. Back in 5 minutes, I inquired about thebeers? Morgan mentioned they didn?t have ? Flights? or a beer list? ???? Oh well, I perked up when Morgan mentioned a Nut BrownAle! We enjoyed their BBQ blueberry wings as the appetizer! ( finger- licking good) My wife enjoyed the grilled Salmonsandwich! My pepperoni, onion, and sausage brick oven pizza was delicious ! Our friend ordered up the Bison burger, and laterwished she joined me with her own pizza! Kudos on the PIZZA! Overall. . . the food, ambiance, and Morgan?s service combined fora wonderful lunch. Thankyou! My only suggestions: Maybe a menu with a history of Rangeley area, and Furbish House? Maybe apiece of paper BEER LIST insert?
