After 10 minutes of perusing a new store/deli/restaurant with all the different kinds of items/food they had in store, I... approached Gisella to ask her a few questions about the refrigerated gnocchi and pastas. Let me say this....l will never supporta business where the owner doesn't greet, offer to answer questions, let alone make your 5 year old cry upon leaving as sheblames him for breaking something which I confirmed he did not. What a joke. Her very bad attitude and horrendous starepreceding what would have been my asking of relevant questions about food was so unpleasant that I actually told her that Ichanged my mind and that I actually don't have any questions for her any more.. What kind of grown adult acts that way thesedays. How did she stay afloat with her bad attitude. I don't expect much; just the minimum level of normalcy for a shopper in anew store and some common sense on how to act towards a 5 year old. Maybe she chooses who to be "nice" or "normal" with andwears that cross on her neck all wrong. Good luck and be somewhat nice if you want to stay in business. Being fake goes only forso long. You call yourself a chef, in part meaning a professional cook, yet there was absolutely nothing "professional" aboutyou in that short encounter. Shame on you! You did not make your parents proud. Stumbled on this restaurant while looking for something to have for lunch, and wow was it awesome. I had a cup of the butternut... squash soup, so flavorful and creamy! I also had the pumpkin risotto?I swear I was in heaven. It was so rich and creamy but notoverwhelming, flavors outstanding!! Im sure this is a seasonal flavor of the risotto, but I?m also sure that any ?regular?risotto here is just as amazing! I also noticed they have a small section of cookies, pastas, pasta sauces, etc? There aredesserts there as well as bottled drinks and frozen foods. Great variety of everything. 20/10 definitely recommend!!! Read more

What an awesome day. So helpful, turned me on to caper blossoms. THE BEST. Their selection is supreme. Had lemon cookies that... were the best sweet I have had in a really long time. If you want top shelf Italian, make sure you visit. Read more

Delicious, unique, and cost-effective. FOOD They have a comprehensive menu with something for everyone. Tastes very authentic... and has unique flavor combinations I haven?t experienced elsewhere. Definitely not fast-food prices, but for date-night qualityfood, the prices are very reasonable. Tips are included in the price of the food, European-style. You order and pay at thecounter and they bring the food out to you. Portions are reasonable and both lunch and dinner options are offered. They alsooffer meats and cheeses for purchase, deli-style. Mostly pastries for dessert options, and again, not your typical selection.Granted, I was there during a time that wasn?t very busy, but they brought my hot dessert to me on the last bite of my meal. Inever felt like they were watching me as I ate my food, yet they were paying attention enough to deliver my dessert as I wasfinishing my meal. STAFF The staff is friendly, quick to give a smile and willing to start a conversation if there?s no line. They are helpful and the service is quick. I?ve been here with a large group and by myself and both experiences were equally aspleasant. ENVIRONMENT Comfortable seating both indoor and out. There are seating options both for large groups and forindividuals. On a whole, the indoor seating is better for large groups and the outdoor seating is better for one or two persons.Eclectic, but simple style inside. Peaceful and homey feel. They also sell canned/jarred/bagged food items stored in a fewnon-obtrusive racks on one of the walls. Overall, a very pleasant dining experience and definitely somewhere I want to sharewith others. The experience and food was simply amazing. The flavors were simple and played well with each other. The minestrone had a... made-from-scratch taste as opposed to the canned/sodium flavors of most other places. The portions are enough for a meal. Nottoo much, not too little. The customer service was very polite and friendly. Price is also very reasonable for the quality andamount of food you receive. Read more

This took over the old "Neighborhood Grill", which had delicious food and I was sad to see go... BUT Cibo does not disappoint!... The portions are a normal size.. don't expect "bucco di beppo" family style portions with lots of leftovers when you order anentree.. and the food is fresh and flavorful. I loved the eggplant bruschetta and the pasta carbonara! If you can handledessert, I was very happy we chose to get bread pudding !!! Read more
