If you suffer from nostalgia for the '60s this is your place. It is old school, Southern California decor, old school wait... staff, old school, live music, and an old school menu. Everything was perfectly prepared. I would highlight the souffles whichwere truly excellent. Also enjoyed the filet of sole and the calves liver. Oysters were just so so as was the beef carpaccio. Wally's is superb. I've been a couple of times. Top-notch and attentive service throughout the dinner experience. Excellent food... all around; I can think of very little to complain about. The atmosphere is semi-formal. I have been most comfortable dressing"fancy" however I've seen other patrons come in completely casual. Live soft music is a very pleasant addition to the experienceand is particularly nice when sitting in the bar area. It is expensive to eat here but I feel it is well worth it. Read more

First of all - shoutout to the valet driver who hustles and works hard. Thanks for taking care of my Tesla. This was the only... exceptional service here. Food = Cheesecake Factory level. Short ribs were tough, flavor was lacking. Service = sub par.Imagine being given a butter knife and salad fork for my short ribs, and your server being upset I didn’t order cocktail, wine, or desert. Imagine no desert for birthday. Ambiance = google pics of this place and use your imagination and judgement. What you think is what you’ll get Read more

Hands down best abalone I’ve ever had! The DeLuca family, used to love coming here for the fashion shows, my grandparents Mr.... and Mrs. DeLuca would help dress all of the models with their jewelry. I would go around explaining about the jewelry to try tohelp them with a show, the waitresses and the staff always took such good care of us. The ambience, the lighting, the bathroomis beautiful! It’s small and quaint yet the acoustics are perfect. The background with someone playing piano, makes it overthe top dinning experience.Truly the best time of our lives. Thanks Wally’s, MISS y’all! Classic atmosphere, great food, and excellent service. I have been a local resident for 20 years and have never had dinner at... Wally's before. I was told jackets and ties were required so I was never very interested. Well my wife and I wanted to dosomething different for our anniversary so we decided to give it a try. Well jackets are no longer required but most of theguests dressed up anyways. The ambiance was dated but not in a bad way, it felt like you were going back in time to experiencereal fine dining. Our servers were very pleasant and attentive and the "new" owner even stopped by our table to wish us well. Overall definitely worth the experience. Read more

Amazing old school iconic restaurant! kept expecting Bob Hope to walk in at any moment. Great music, ambience, and fun just to... people watch. Michael the owner comes to every table is very gregarious and has the staff to prove it, impeccable service. mywater glass never got below half empty, just a magical experience. We had a spectacular dinner. My wife who is a gourmet cookcouldn't stop raving about the Caesar salad and her braised short ribs were so tender, they melted in her mouth. The White fishwas cooked perfectly. And the Lava cake dessert was off the charts! Read more
