This is a very fine Italian restaurant and the best restaurant in PD, which is mostly because I have only been to one restaurant... here that's not barbecue. The meatball sub is very tasty and the meat here is like Italy on New Zealand, with a little bit ofMexican thrown in. It tastes like a bunch of different types of meat mixed together in a brilliant way. The soup is really goodbut there aren't enough selections. The meatball soup was the reason I went there (not including the air conditioning) and nowit's gone. But the customer service, the staff, and the bread are the best parts of this restaurant. Service was great, one young man was taking care of all the tables inside and outside. The food was good, served in a reasonable... time, good selection of wine and Pepsi products. We loved the bread & butter. We've been here before and definitely will returnagain. The 5 stars was give to the young man who is working all the tables with a positive and cheerful attitude. I would giveit a 5, but I giving it a 4.5 for the food because they don't have clear vegan products. If they had a bigger selection of veganproteins I would have given them a 5. Fresh baked bread, variety of olive oils TO START. Lunch specials are fairly priced. Mine came with minestrone as a starter. ... Yum. Honestly I will be a bit biased here being that I?m not a big fan of pizza but I did however get hot wings. The wings were nice... warm and crispy. The pizza slices are real big portions for a slice. Love this place. The service is always warm and friendly and I am pretty sure we had the coolest server ever yesterday. He... smiled a lot, didn't question weird requests, and one of the people with me that is a little particular said, "This guy getsme!" I've been going a lot lately because my mother is gluten-free and she says it is the best pasta in town. It takes longerbecause they make sure that it is completely gluten-free for celiacs. The booths are roomy and big so you have plenty of elbowspace and the decor is fun! Mr. Particular ordered the calzone, and being Italian and ... um, particular, he likes it just acertain way. Amazingly, he was VERY pleased, he says the only thing he would change is that they would have real ham. Hedoesn't like the Canadian bacon substitute for ham because it is salty and has a different taste than he would like. I love thevery reasonable lunch special, slice of pizza, nice salad, and a drink. They have several to choose from. But it doesn'tinclude the drink you want! You must try the white sangria on a warm day. It is refreshing and has fresh oranges and crispyapples. It tastes so good, you may as well go for the 22 OZ off the bat!
