Reviews for Lucho's Peruvian Restaurant in Rancho Cucamonga, CA
Best Peruvian food in the Inland Empire! I?ve been coming to Don Luchos restaurant, formerly known as JP Latin Deli for many... years now. It never disappoints! My favorite plate is the Lomo Saltado which is always cooked to perfection. I also like hisother dishes such as the Tallarin Saltado (noodle dish) and Chaufa De Pollo (chicken fried rice). The whole menu is incredible,so delicious. If you?re ever in the Ontario/Rancho Cucamonga area I definitely recommend you try this place out. I guarantee itwill not be your last time visiting this restaurant.. ???????????????????????????? Read more
The best lomo saltado hands down! They have real aji not that fake aji; they serve at other place in rancho cucamonga.
Formally JP Latin deli, Lucho?s is an institution for Peruvian food. The restaurant is nestled in a strip mall almost in a... movie-like fashion with Lucho and company just waiting to welcome you in. The lomo saltado is exceptional as the perfect blendof umami and sweet. Each slice of beef is juicy and every fry crispy while bathed in the marinade. The lomo comes with a side ofsteaming hot garlic rice. It?s rice fries and beef - can it go wrong? Finally, the portions are gargantuan and definitely worththe price. Read more
Spectacular! The food is really fantastic. There were 3 people (all Latinos so we really know this kind of foofd) in our group... and we all ate different things to try out as much as possible from the menu and everything was excellent and cooked fresh infront of us. Read more
Friday night we normally go out to dinner with the kids but not recently. But that doesn?t stop us from supporting small... businesses. JP Latin Deli is no exception. We?ve been craving Peruvian food for a while and the one we used to go to in CostaMesa closed down and we weren?t exactly close to Orange County. We found this location and perused the menu and decided quicklythat this is the place. We both ordered beef saltado, 15 minute drive up the freeway and we were there. They have a small unitnestled among other commercial businesses if you aren?t paying attention you would drive right in by. The husband and wifeowners were very hospitable and we struck up conversation and shared recipes for the aji verde sauce (their version is reallyspicy, you?ve been warned) The drive home was painful because the smell of the food permeated the car. Home couldn?t be anyfarther away. But we made it and quickly disagreed up the meal. One word delicious absolutely hit the spot. The aji verde saucewas sparingly put on and it still was still spicy as heck. But the flavors of this dish is amazing. Gives them a try if youhave a hankering for Peruvian food you won?t be sorry. Walked in to get my pick up order and was cheerfully greeted by all 6 staff members. We had the yucca fries and fusion/Chinese... fried rice dish. Simple but delicious. Will be returning to try their aji seafood dish. Read more
I love Peruvian food, but this was my first time going to J P Latin Deli. I'll definitely be coming here now. The service was... great. I believe it was the owner that sat us and took our order. He was very personable and would talk to everyone. Theportions are HUGE and the food is delicious. I was so full but next time I'm also gonna get dessert! Read more
