Checked into our hotel and opened the blinds and boom, we knew where we were eating dinner.  To be honest the expectations were... low just because of location. Well I was wrong.  The food was delicious and big servings. My hubby and I could have easilysplit the fajitas.  And the nachos that my kid got could have fed 4 people. It is a bit confusing cause you order when you walkin, get a number and then you sit down. So I feel like I might not have tipped enough  (I did 15%) because I didn't know how itworked. But the ladies come and check on you and bring your food. So next time I will tip more. The food was great, woulddefinitely come back and recommend this place to others when in the area. Read more

Best Mexican Brunch Ever! Just got the Sunday Brunch (they have it until 2) for around 23$ per person. It was awesome we got... fish tacos, ceviche, fajitas, shrimp, eggs, chilequeles, sausage etc. unlimited drinks Sangria mimosa coffee orange juice andsweets! It was so good. It?s expensive for the quality of the food. They give you free refills until my kid ask for a togo cup because he was almost... done eating, then they want to change you $2 to fill it. I only had one cup of soda had a dry throw from food and the lady wouldn?t give me a refill when I was still eating. Lastly the fan was dirty and wires hanging out. Won?t be going back here. First time here at this place very nice staff we were told that the asada nachos were going to be big but as I was thinking... everyone always say that, but when our food came out my eyes went big the portions are very large I couldn't even finnish half, the food was great and the owner came out to greet us turned on music for us and I highly recommend this place great food andgreat people. El Tio Alex is a gem of a restaurant! Food quality is delicious and for such a reasonable price. I love that it?s close to my... office?it has been a consistently good place for lunch.
