When I started eating here it was amazing. Then I switched employers and stopped eating here. I returned to the area and was... sadly disappointed upon my return. BUT TODAY WOW!!!! I had the best shrimp cockatiel ever. When i ordered it i was even askedhow spicy and NOBODY has ever gotten that correct except today. I ate every single last drop. Excellent birria and pork belly tacos. Fried Plantains were super tasty as well.
Tacos are huge by tacos standards and delicious. Drinks were delicious. Service was a bit slow but I think that's just the way... service is everywhere these days. Can't wait to go back on taco Tuesday! Read more
The food is delicious, no doubt. Excellent even. After our first visit, we wanted to bring our friends and family back, And... so we did. 3 visits in 3 weeks. Bringing in 4 new potential patrons. But with each visit the service became worse. So much sothat it brought frustration instead of enjoyment to our dinner. Each guest were brought their food individually, the last guestserved 30 minutes after the first had finished their meal. Very awkward. A mix-up on ordering as well. The wait time betweendrinks, appetizers, a needed knife.... was so long that it was unexplainable as there were only 10 people in the restaurantcounting us. We had to ask our waiter for items twice with a space of 10 minutes in-between. A 10- 15 minute wait for drinks.Appetizers served untimely during dinner. We kept making excuses for the poor service wanting to return for the wonderful foodyet basic service is important to any thriving restaurant. And i said basic. That is all we need. On our last visit, (lastnight 4/26/2022) we would have doubled our bill with another round of drinks and desserts yet we raced to get out of thereinstead. What could have been a weekly visit has now turned into a no repeat. Our newly discovered gem became a never again.Shame. Read more

The decor/ambiance gets 5 stars. Service - fine no issues. I can see the effort the owner put into decor and menu ideas. The... food unfortunately I give 3 stars. I was really hopeful when going here. My husband and I order a pork belly taco, brisket taco,ribeye taco and nachos(only had a few bites) with ribeye. The best was the brisket taco. Presentation was great and appealingwith all tacos. Drinks- they do not have a liquor license so wine and beer are your options or LABV drinks . So they might haveto change the name to just grill because a cantina needs liquor.??????????? I hate to say it, but We didn't like the food. Theingredients were good quality ingredients but, It was hard to put my finger on what the problem was. It's the Mexican fusionthey are going for. They are trying too hard and missing the mark. The food is not defined. Flavors clashed. Eg:ribeye taco withsweet plantains?? Ribeye nachos with nacho cheese and whole caned beans (im assuming canned from taste) ?? We caught ourselvespicking out some ingredients from our food like the plantains and eating them outside our taco because the flavors clashed. Isit Mexican? I'm assuming because it's a "cantina", but the food does not reflect it. Overall unfortunately we won't be back.Nothing we had gave us the "wow, yum!" factor. Read more
