Priya is our favorite indian restaurant. We used to drive all the way to Natomas just to get authentic indian food but we no... longer have to do that ever since we discovered this awesome place! I am so happy that they have lunch buffet back. Theselection nowadays is pretty limited and they've stopped serving chai as part of the buffet BUT totally understandable sinceCOVID hit a lot of restaurants hard and i'm sure they are still recuperating from it. Although I'm just a white girl from CA I've spent some time in India and also lived in Scotland (very good Indian food there) so... I have high standards for Indian food. Almost every place I've tried in CA has been a huge disappointment, until tonight when Itried Priya. The mixed pakora was incredibly fresh and not overly oily like most places, the curry was rich with flavor, thenaan was cooked to perfection, and I highly recommend paying a little extra to get the complete thali at least once to try someother dishes.
