Reviews for Famous Burgers & Brew in Rancho Cordova, CA
This place makes a good burger. It?s too bad they saturate the bun with condiments so that it falls apart and makes a mess.... Sweet potato fries were crispy, but not very flavorful and neither was the ranch. I do like the casual atmosphere. That beingsaid, If I?m in the area, I?d try it again. Read more
This place goes above and beyond. Not only do they serve excellent food but the people there cater you very well. I am a... revisiting customer. Price has gone higher now but that's inflation. Good place to go with a small group. Read more
Great burgers, very filling, good customer service, clean bathrooms. I ordered a mushroom burger and it was fantastic. Very... savory, had the right ratio of veggies to meat. The only thing was that the onions were fairly thick and pungent, so after a fewbites I had to take mine out. Otherwise the burger was amazing and satisfied my cravings!! Also ordered garlic fries which wereVERY heavily loaded with garlic. They tasted awesome but I had to scrape some garlic chunks out otherwise it was toostrong. Heads up: on the counter it says that a 3.99% fee is charged if paying with card, which seems like a lot. However, myfriend's 9.99 burger didn't get charged that extra amount, so I don't know what that means. Maybe bring cash? For starters, this burger place draws in a crowd every day/night and thats a good sign. I visited to try this place out, because... before my visit, I had never heard of this place. A few things that caught my attention: 1. They add a fee of approximately$3.99 to every order not paid with cash, to offset operational costs but if paying with cash they minus out the fee. 2. Theycharge approximately $0.39 for a ramekin of their housemade sauces. 3. Expect to pay around $10-12 for a burger and $4 forfries, drinks are extra, approximately $3.49. 4. Like BurgerIM they offer different types of protein like waygu beef, Turkeypatties, garden patties, and more. 5. The burgers are big, juicy, and delicious with all the fixings. I have just 1 complaint:they put a lot of house made sauce on the buns which causes the bread to become soggy and then the burger gets messy. If theyplaced the sauce in ramekins for take out orders the burger would taste better because the buns wouldn't get overloaded withsauce and become soggy. Read more
Hamburgers are pre-formed and frozen. Then they are cooked until the inside is shriveled and rubbery, and the outside is crispy... and unchewable?and that was the Wagyu. No seasoning, such a travesty. Gave them 2 tries. Same each time. Read more
Great place to go grab lunch or dinner on a busy day This place has become a regular for me due to their consistent quality,... customer service, atmosphere, whole holistic experience. They'll make you whatever burger you want and they'll even pair itwith a tasty beer for you. My favorite is a bacon blue cheese with a Heretic and they remember me as a customer. Such a greatexperience, not to mention the food is also exceptionally delicious. I'd recommend a stop here if you're hankering for qualityburgers and craft beer made to order! Read more
In our hunt for the best burger in the Sacramento area we stumbled upon this gem. The burgers were juicy and cooked to... perfection. We ordered the Wagyu-Kobe Burger and the Cowboy Burger with Avocado. We also ordered Sweet Potato fries and CurlyFries and those were bomb as well. On top of the excellent food the customer service from the owner who introduced himself to usand asked for our names was above and beyond. Overall an awesome experience! Read more
