Loved it! Got a family meal 16 piece so good! Loved smooth mashed potatoes and gravy and coleslaw! Mac and cheese was so so to... my liking but everyone else said it was ok. Stood in line for 30 mins without being acknowledged. Employee was sleeping on guest area while customers were waiting to be... waited on. I am normally pleased with El Pollo Local in my regular neighborhood but this is this worst one I have been to in theSacramento, Folsom, and Rio Linda areas. Poorly managed! Read more
Chicken pieces were laughably small and overcooked. I ordered the 2 piece meal which says it includes a breast and wing. The... wing was all shriveled up and the breast was cut in half. Who would ever think you only get half a breast? I got broccoli andmashed potatoes as sides, which were both fine, nothing special. If you want a drink it's like an extra $3. I opted out, butthe chicken is so dry you almost need a drink just to swallow it. Finally, it was hotter than hell outside, which is why Ichose to dine in, figuring I could cool off with the AC, but it was either broken or turned off, because it was uncomfortablywarm in there. Quesiadlla falling apart. Its all cold to the touch. I've never had a bad el Pollo Loco till now.
Ordered 2 Pollo fit bowls. One was the Mexican Caesar and the other was the Avocado. There really isn't much difference between... them but they both tasted great. Veges were fresh and meat was grilled just right. Very quick turnaround as I only waited about3 minutes. Read more
Their grilled chicken are delicious. The family meal contains a lot of food. The price is very reasonable. The service is quick.
