Food was great, very fresh. You walk in and they give you a paper where you select all the items in your bowl from protein to... sauces, it?s however you want it. I also ordered a matcha boba (which was just ok). The bowl was about $13 and boba tea $5. Read more
I love this place. Only restaurant in Ramona to my knowledge that has the wonderful ?tofu?. They also have fish and stuff. Yum... times 1000000. It?s just a little place by the Taco Hell. Blink and you will miss it if you?re driving by. I spend a lot of timein RAMONA, and it?s pretty rare Pickins to have something healthy here. So if you?re Looking for healthy fair in RAMONA on yourway up the mountain or coming back, super good, Or if you?re a veg head like me. Clean food. Staff is kind and chill. Incr-Edible! Such a delightful surprise tucked away here in Ramona! I have had poke and sushi in some of the finest venues in... the world and this ranks, without a doubt, right up there with best of them. Poke Oka has some of the freshest ingredients,finest varieties and their attention to detail in preparation is amazing for such a small venue. Modest seating, but comfy andcozy like a family's dining kitchenette. Adorable. We each got a bowl, thinking small (two proteins for me, one for my partner)and by far the star of the bowl was the tender eel. Perfectly prepared, with exquisite taste and texture. The spicy crab alsoexcellent, the ahi was superb and the edamame shelled and chilled to exactly the right temperature for service in a salad. Thesauces were excellent and even the toppings still had the perfect crunch. I struggle to find anything to improve on, but as acritic the only thing I would ask a reflection on is the Thai ice tea; could use a little more robust flavor and let yourpatrons mix the layers. Other than that minor head tilt, 100% recommend! Poke Oka (and I love the Spain family history on thewall at the entrance) you really have something here to be proud of and worthy of review. Delicious fresh fish and lots of veggies. I was very happy to find an option where are all the goodies went on very Fresh green... salad. Flavor was terrific, prices were excellent and and I look forward to going again! I felt badly they?ve been open for fourmonths and offer healthy food which Ramona has been lacking for about the last 30 years, and we hadn?t gone before. I?lldefinitely go back. Read more
Pretty standard poke place but I'm just happy this is in Ramona. Lots of different options too.
Stopped in and had their teriyaki salmon bowl for lunch. So many fresh veggies and delicious flavors. Definitely a great option... when you want to eat out but still have a nutritious meal. Staff was friendly and helpful. Cute shop decorated nicely. Willdefinitely be headed back! Read more
