Fancy deco and atmosphere, but food was just so so and price is above average. Octopus was burned (cancer causing!), lamb was... not tender and chewy, skewers were good and the fried lettuce with tahini sauce (a free appetizer fir our table educated wasnice) was a nice touch. Salmon was ok but farmed salmon only especially for that price. They do have lots of space inside withnice art work and large dining table with sofas. Just not a place for good food ???? Read more

This was such a beautiful restaurant! The whole place from floor to ceiling was a work of art. The service was outstanding and... the servers were able to help us decide which dishes and how many were right for my boyfriend and I. We ended up with theoctopus appetizer and the trout and a pasta dish for mains. The olive oil cake was easily one of my favorite desserts in ages. It's a little pricier than I usually go for, but it was worth every penny for the experience and the flavors. Read more

The truffle cornbread is to die for. Wife and I got the cornbread, fried shrimp balls (forget the name), and for the eentre we... got the NY strip wood grilled steak and roasted chicken. Both were cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. Service was great, knowledgeable and advised well. Can be bit busy, I'd suggest making reservations. The ambience is also great, beautifulinterior. Absolutely phenomenal. Our server was wonderful. The food was so delicately crafted and the flavors were divine. I came with a... group of 7, but a reservation for 6 and they graciously accommodated. The vibe and environment was just beautiful. I cannot waitto go back! Read more

Service was fantastic and the atmosphere was mostly awesome. First 30 min the sound level was quiet to expected, but the last 30... min many other patrons arrived and it was much louder. This is to be expected, except that the restaurant turned up the volumeof their music so that it could be heard over the already loud voices. So it just turned into a yelling match to be heard. Incredible experience! The atmosphere is stunning. The dimensions of texture in every inch of the restaurant combine to provide... a full sensory experience. The food is wonderful, and very creative. There wasn’t a single detail of this meal we didn’tenjoy. May be the best dining in Raleigh. Highly recommend! Read more

Vidrio is a great spot in the Raleigh Durham area. It’s in a great location and has an excellent ambience for dinner and or... drinks! Their cocktail and wine selection is fun and exciting. I tried their wine flights which change often and they do notdisappoint. Thought I’ve been here a few times - this time we ate in the bar and of course had their to die for corn breadalong with some olives and a beets and cheese salad which were all great and refreshing. Their steak and mushroom pasta wereexcellent entrees as well. The meal is fun and intimate because it’s tapas style so great place to go with close friends orfamily. I’ve also always had awesome service. Highly recommend Vidrio and I’ll be back again soon. Read more
