Requested a catering order of 10 rolls on a Tuesday to be completed Friday at 5pm for pickup and they accepted the order and... then cancelled it Wednesday with no explanation. It's hard to take any business seriously that can't fulfill bigger orders. Itwas 10 rolls not 50, and they had plenty of time in advance to plan it. Maybe they decided to cancel my order because I didn'tput an automatic tip on it, but I always tip to-go orders 20% in cash. Very off putting. Guess I'll cater elsewhere. Read more

I ordered the fried pork gyoza and a s'mores waffle. The gyoza were delicious. Unfortunately, they gave me frozen waffles. When... I asked if they were supposed to be frozen, they told me yes, they had just taken them out of the cooler.... I'm pretty surethey were supposed to be warmed or toasted. I had to take them back to my office and toast them because they were rock solidfrozen. Read more

I should have known when the place was totally empty to turn around. This is barely a restaurant. When we entered, there was... no hostess, just a sign that said "welcome to our self help dining experience" or something to that effect. "Order from thetablet and pick up your food when your number is called." We ordered our food from the tablet then realized we forgot drinks, but didn't worry about it because water would be ok. There were a few "self-help" water carts with coolers and cups scatteredaround. The water cups are about 4 oz (pic1), which is a more appropriate size for measuring a dose of pepto-bismol in myopinion. That's ok because there was no one else in the restaurant and we could sit right next to a water cart for quickrefills. As we waited for our food, I noticed lots of people coming in to pick up orders. I think this place is reallyintended as a kitchen for pickup and delivery, which is weird because it's a huge, well decorated space in a primelocation. Probably around my 3rd cup of water, a homeless guy came in and asked us for money. Once our number was called, Iwent to pick up our food. I had the Tonkotsu Ramen with pork belly (pic2), which was good and why this is a 2 star review. Theonly problem with it was the cutlery, which were the smallest, cheapest plastic token utensils I've ever seen in my waking life. I struggled to eat my pork belly with the flimsy noodle-pronged fork until I realized there was a whole bucket of chopsticks onthe table, so I grabbed a pair of those. The other member of our party had the tofu teppan bowl. I've known this person for 6years, and I've never seen them so disappointed by food as to not finish the whole serving. In this instance, they barely tooka nibble before deciding to toss it. I couldn't believe it was that bad, so I decided to try it. Now I don't know everythingabout tofu in Asian cuisine, but I do know the difference between silken and regular tofu, and I do not ever recall a Read more

Ordered from doordash first time tonight. It was expensive but was the food was very good tasting. The spring rolls were very... tasty and warm and good dipping sauce. Tried the goza they where also very tasty and warm and the sushi was perfect. I had thePhilly Roll and salmon roll. Very similar but the rice and taste was on par and presented it well. Roommate got the bang bangshrimp and the chicken bowl. Both smelt good and warm to the touch when received. Thank you I will definitely be coming back. (: Read more

I don't normally write bad reviews on restaurants, I know everyone has a bad night, and restaurants are recovering from COVID,... but this meal was exceptionally terrible. I ordered the Ramen bowl with vegetables and tofu and it was inedible. They putcauliflower and corn in it which was just not right, they took the egg out because I ordered veggie, the mushroom looked like achild's plastic kitchen toy, and the tofu was cut raw from the package. This would have been fine had the broth been hot enoughto cook the tofu a bit (I am a huge tofu fan when it is treated right). They also used spaghetti noodles and didn't give a spoonfor the broth. I took it back and requested the Teppan bowl in it's place with a side of edamame because that came out abouteven to what I paid for the first meal. I apologized to the waitress for sending it back and she never even apologized for thefood, just said it came out like it should have! The next meal took about 20 minutes to come in a half empty restaurant and theedamame had so much salt on it you could see it in clumps. We had to use our napkins to clean it off before eating. The Teppanwas okay, the zucchini was basically raw and I only had like 8 quartered pieces of it, but it was edible. Finally, my friend gotgyoza for an appetizer ($8 for 4!) and the tops were all hard, as if they had been sitting out and it dried out. It is also thefirst time I have ever seen her not eat all of her sushi. It was expensive, really hard to eat (the roll was massive and weneeded a knife but were given none) and something was off flavor wise, almost like they used cheap hot sauce on it. The scalliongarnish looked like it had sat for two weeks before use and was all shriveled and dry. Maybe this was a bad night or a new cook, but I would not suggest a visit. Read more

The Unami Bistro food truck came to my apartment complex tonight and everything was amazing. Friendly staff and great vegan... options. I started with the veggie potstickers ????, spring roll, and the tempura veggie specialty roll. Everything was so goodthat I went back for more. My second order was the tofu nigiri and regular veggie rolls. The tofu nigiri was my favorite! Read more
