Wife and I went for 4yr anniversary dinner and we were very pleased with the service and our meal. We both got the surf and turf... with ribeye and the flavor and cook was phenomenal. The real highlight though is their salad bar. They have tons of options!Old-school steakhouse vibes. Highly recommend. Read more
It was so so. My sweet potato was under cooked. Ordered a pork chop and wasn't asked how I wanted it cooked which was odd. I... prefer my pork cooked medium. HOWEVER when it came to the table it wasn't even cooked medium rare. Had to send it back and itdid come back perfect that time. Great seasoning and waitress was very nice and apologetic. We also had to slide our table overas we were right next to the salad bar. I got hit twice while sitting in my chair. And those a$$hole customers never evenacknowledged they even bummed me. I guess today's society. ? Anyways the 3 day others in our party seemed to enjoy their meal. Idid notice that one person's porterhouse steak was rather fatty. Greeted by the kindest hostess who offered her favorite dishes. This was our first visit of many to come!! The setting was... perfect for a weeknight dinner, and Deija easily recommended her favorites on the menu. Let?s talk salad bar! So many fresh anddelicious options? a meal in itself. Can I just say best steak I?ve had in a while!! Cooked to perfection!! Service was awesome, we had Angela and she was absolutely... the best!! Although they have a sign warning of delayed service due to staffing shortage we couldn?t tell at all, food anddrinks came out within a reasonable time and Angela always showed up right on time to our table!! The natural comparison to Peddler's steakhouse is Angus Barn, and I think of the two steak spots off Glennwood, I'd say... Peddler's is ultimately a more satisfying experience. And slightly less expensive. Peddler's is much more "to the point" withtheir menu but everything on it seems to be well thought through and done well. The atmosphere was great and our server was downto earth and honest. 2 complaints- They have no way to reserve a table for small parties so you'll be waiting outside for 15minutes before they open. Not all their desserts are made in-house (from ehat I understand) which is fine, but the two that are-the creme brule and key lime pie, were only OK. Not as good and special as the steaks and fish.
