One of my favorite dinner restaurants in downtown Raleigh. We went for brunch this time and it was so fabulous as I expected.... Can't go wrong with anything oyster related on their menu but I was surprised they had incredibly unique and tasty salads too.I'll definitely be back! I didn't get a picture of my espresso martini but it's my favorite in town to date! Read more

My daughter wanted to take me for a special dinner for my visit to Raleigh and, knowing my love for oysters, chose St. Roch. So... glad she did! We started with two delicious cocktails- Cold Day in the Sun & Mind Eraser, No Chaser- and crispy frog legs toshare. They were very tender, meaty and perfectly seasoned. My daughter had a bowl of gumbo. It was hearty, filled with shreddedchicken, andouille sausage topped with red potato salad & trout row caviar. I ordered a dozen West Coast raw oysters, whichwere fresh, briny and fantastic! Read more

Had a lovely date night dinner with my partner! I'm a huge fan of seafood (especially oysters), though my partner had never... tried it, so we figured this would be a wonderful spot to try on our vacation. Our server Jacob was very friendly andknowledgeable about the menu. We went fairly early (4:30pm) so it was not busy, which allowed us to really enjoy the ambiance ofthe restaurant. We started with two orders of the Happy Hour oysters, then had the Heirloom Tomato Salad and the Pork Schnitzel.Everything was divine! Read more

Simply an excellent experience and food. Things that stood out to me was how fast the service was and how excellent the seafood... was. A number of variety of oyster to choose from at various price. But also an excellent bar service with numerous optionsavailable. One appetizer that stood out to me was the catfish hush puppies and they were amazing! Read more

Found this place by accident looking for a different restaurant. Overall, the ambience is superb. I found the food pretty... underwhelming. Presentation is great, but the portion sizes are so incredibly small for the price! Salad was $20! With a fewpoached shrimp. Crazy. Pimento cheese with friend saltines is a no for me. I don’t really understand the concept of friedsaltines. They would have been fine not fried. Pimento cheese was mediocre and not worth the $12. Definitely won’t be back.$86 for a lunch (without tip) is nuts. You can get authentic seafood right down the street at 42 oyster st for way more and thesame price, if not less. Read more

Amazing food with layers of flavor. This was just brunch on Sunday and the food brought silence to the table. I can't imagine... how good dinner would be. We'll be back! Pics are BBQ Shrimp & Grits, Hotcakes & Honey, and the jovial ???? Gumbo with Grits,Andouille, pickled okra, and trout roe (I should've rotated the pic first). Read more

First time really trying oysters, this is a wonderful place to do so. Especially on a Wednesday (west coast Wednesdays!). Bar... staff made some bang up cocktails, and the food coming from the kitchen, let’s just say I will be back! That asparagus dishwith the almond romesco sauce is bomb! Next time I go, the BBQ shrimp will be ordered! Ps. They deep fry their saltines, something different to enjoy! Read more

The fire roasted oysters are to die for! So were the BBQ shrimp and market catch fish stew. The BBQ shrimp does come with... shells. The stew was incredibly flavorful and unique. It was quite a large portion so I had leftovers. The ambiance was reallynice. I ate inside but the outdoor seating looked very warm and cute with big heaters. I will hopefully be back! Read more
