So my daughter and I were browsing the area since my other daughter was at Volleyball camp and I wanted a smoothie. Tropical... Smoothie was a few minutes up the street but I didn?t want to go that way. We walked in and we?re immediately OVERWHELMED at themenu. Whew lawd? so many choices that didn?t fit what I needed. I love Smoothie King but this location sucks. It was supposed to be open. The sign even said open but the doors were locked. Saw... an employee working inside who had told another customer he would be open in a couple minutes. 20 min later same employee walksout and asks ?are you guys waiting? we said yes and he said well it?s going to be another hour before I?m ready. The smoothies are good; however, a superior option, Smoothie U, is within walking distance. Also, the hours are not posted... correctly. I've been during posted hours and they were closed. Read more
The smoothies are really good, some of my favorites but that?s only if you can get one when they decide to be open. The hours on... their door do not reflect their actual hours of operation. And google says they close at 6 but even just today I went at around5:28 and they were already locked up and GONE. They charged me twice for a smoothie, when I called the girl had an attitude (as if someone is forcing her to work there) and... said she didn?t know my situation and if I had actually been charged twice for the smoothie (as if I?m hard up for $7 whenthey?re the ones working for $8/hr?.). This was my first time going to this Smoothie King. They offer curbside service when you order online. I'm going thru chemo... right now so I chose that option. When I got there I called to let them know. No one answered the phone. I left a message. 5minutes later I called again and had to leave a message. 5 minutes later I had to go in the store only to be told they were toobusy to pick up the phone or bring out the smoothie. I made the comment that if they couldn't do curbside it shouldn't beoffered online only to have who I presume was the manager get sarcastic and rude. When I said I was going thru chemo, shestarted to smart off again so I walked out. A simple "I'm sorry that happened" would have changed the whole atmosphere of thevisit.
