I love this place! My girlfriends and I went for lunch the other day and ordered oysters, shrimp, and some loaded fries and... everything was very tasty! We also ordered some drinks from Kyle, who was very friendly, and they were really good too! Idefinitely recommend going to this Shuckin' Shack, you'll definitely get your money's worth. Read more

The food wasn't that bad, as was the service. Being my first time dining there, I wasn't aware that I was expected to know and... understand their menu. My ignorance was met with disgust, by the server. After I placed my order, it was served incorrectly. Iwas given my salad, completely omitting my main dish. When this was bought to the attention of our server I was immediatelyinformed that the mishap was completely my fault. There is a first and last for everything. Dining at Shuckin' Shack is one. We?ve been here several times and the service is awful. Luckily the food is decent. You have to ask for service for legit... anything. The staff doesn?t ask or acknowledge you. Most recently the menu prices were wrong so luckily we looked at the bill.For example 9.99 scallops on the menu but charged 13.99. It would just nice to not have to ask for a drink. Or food. Awkward encounter just now with the bartender. We walked in at 8:58 and sat at the bar. We were informed the kitchen closes at... 9, which seemed odd because the listed hours are until 10. Maybe because it's Thanksgiving evening? Anyways, we tried askingmultiple times whether it's okay to go ahead and place an order or not, trying to be considerate since the kitchen might bealready closing up. The rude bartender just shrugged and made faces at us a few times as we kept trying to ask, while pouringherself a drink. Finally I said I guess we'll try another place, to which she also didn't have a reply other than a rude facialexpression. It's not our fault we walked in when we did. We didn't plan to come in when the kitchen was closing an hour beforethe listed time to inconvenience you. We can't comment on the food, but we won't be coming back to try it because of theattitude of this staff member. Edit: In response to the owner, I don't believe you understand the negative review. The issuewasn't that your kitchen closed early the night before Thanksgiving. Kitchens close early for a variety of reasons all the time,which is fine. The negative rating was for the rude employee who lacks communication skills. If she said to us upon walking insomething along the lines of, "we're really sorry, but the kitchen is closing early tonight for Thanksgiving. We hope youunderstand," then there would be no issue whatsoever, and we would've been happy to return another day. Instead we were handedmenus, which insinuates you're taking orders, but then told the kitchen closes in two minutes. That puts us in an odd placewhere if we do order, we might be jerks. And her not answering us after asking if it's okay to order or not was her way ofsaying you're technically open, but your order isn't welcome. Just say you're closed! After reading other reviews here, thisdoesn't seem like an isolated incident. Read more
