My wife (a big Pittsburgh fan) and I just moved to the Raleigh area and were told that Sammy's was the Steelers bar in town that... we had to try. Not going to lie, we looked at reviews before coming, and saw the recent ones were hit and miss. But we werehappy to arrive on a Sunday, and enjoy the atmosphere. Lots of other Steelers fans, service was good with our waitress checkingon us multiple times during the game, food was decent (typical bar food -- nachos, wings, burgers and wraps with fries, etc.),nice selection of beer and cocktails, and plenty of TVs both inside and outside. We will definitely be back! Read more

Sammy's was a fun place for my kids to visit. Dad and I wanted a beer and the kids were fascinated with the 20+ TVs they were... able to view at a time while sitting and waiting for their food. The beer was great & the food was okay. I know food prices havebeen going up, but for the basic food we got on our plate I'm still hungry. We also had to pay $3 a drink for each kid on top oftheir food cost (like a normal adult). Trivia night (Tues night) was starting so we hustled out of there as soon as we could toallow the adults to play. Read more
Cool restaurant, nice employees even though we had to ask other employees to find out server several times, good drinks. But the... food was terrible all except the fried pickles which were good. Ordered a draft DOMESTIC Blue Moon which was the special of theday. Was told that blue moon is not considered domestic so was charged the regular price. Then when I wanted another one, wastold the drafts were not working. Then the price of the nachos were wrong because our Server told us they were a certain priceonly during a certain time. We were not informed of any if this until after the bill came. Server knocked My entire cup.of wateron our table and in me. Never came and got the water off of the floor so we were slipping trying to get out of the booth. Myhusband got chips and queso (very bland and watery). I ordered the southwest grilled chicken plate with veggie medley and ahouse salad... HORRIBLE. The chicken was paper thin and burnt smothered in jalapenos that were raw and then a piece of whitecheese was placed on top. I couldn't chew it. The veggies were unseasoned and undone. And was charged for salad dressing thatwas suppose to be with the salad. My husband ordered the triple decker sandwich which I could have made at home. My meal wascomped but the rest came up to $40 and was not worth $20. I don't know if we will be returning to Sammys Read more
Our waitress was on point and made sure we had everything we needed. There was nothing fancy about the food. Bar grub. The... drinks were a bit shy on the alcohol. Read more
