Food takes forever. One cook on busy Friday night for 50 - 60 orders. If you chance it and want to order here, do yourself a... favor and order through the phone, cause the online booking system is 100% lies as far as pickup time goes. Update: It's been over a year since my review, and still no reply from corporate, owner, or management ATTN: Pei Wei (owner). I... do have an email address to be reached at. Is there an email I can send this contact information too? Also, my reference numberfor the "be our guest" card I never received is Ref #: 1263717 (if that helps anything). Perhaps you can get my contact emailfrom there. I'm looking forward to your reply, thanks. The food quality and taste of this location has gone way down. I ordereda takeout of regular Mongolian beef and crab wontons. The wontons were so greasy that they were soggy and soaked through the boxthey were in, like they weren't drained. The beef was chewy with little flavor, and the rice in the dish was dry and in clumpslike 3-day old rice. I tried to post pics of the poor meal 5 times with an error every time, go figure. I got sick (foodpoisoning?) after eating this food. They cut back on the portion size and sauce amount also. Employees are friendly, butsometimes it takes them a while to acknowledge you standing there waiting to pick up your food. I wasted my time filling out thecontact form on their website to get no compensation...was promised a "be our guest card" from corporate for a poor visit atthis same location over 3 years ago, and reached out to them twice more about it with no response and no card in themail...broken promises! Pei Wei was easily one of my favorite places to eat several years ago. Due to inconsistencies and poor management I stopped... going. Today, I decided to try things out once again. I walked in and was greeted by staff who were quite friendly. This iswhere the pleasantries stopped. I ordered a Mongolian chicken and forgot to specify brown rice (it's been awhile). Stafftypically asks what kind of rice but today they did not and gave me the default- white rice. I found a seat and my food arrivedpromptly. The first thing I noticed was the overcooked white rice staring back at me (see picture below). After attempting togive the bowl a little mix I came across literal slabs of chicken, which were supposed to be bite size, accompanied by severalstalks of green onions (see picture below) which were completely inedible. I couldn't bring myself to eat even half of thispoorly-prepared "meal." I was beyond disappointed. There are tons of other, better Asian restaurants locally. Although this taste good. Sooo not what I asked for. Was a great deal of confusion going on with orders while waiting on my... food. No communication about the order until I asked after the fifteen minute window had passed. Did receive an apology for thewait. Should've been offered a drink or dessert. Even though I wouldn't have taken it. Just wanted my order. If your not in ahurry on a Friday evening, this is the place for you!! For me, just reminds me of why I don't order out that much.
