Reviews for NOFO @ the Pig in Raleigh, NC
I loved the atmosphere. The room was bright and cheery with nods to it's history as a former Piggly wiggly. Food was really... great too. One star deducted for service. Our waitress was curt and made us feel rushed, despite the restaurant not being busy. Read more
Who wants to eat in an old Piggly Wiggly? Well, YOU do if you love great southern cooking and excellent service. Fried green... tomatoes topped with pimento cheese were delicious and so we're the cocktails. The pork chop, was tremendous. If you arehungry, that is what you order. However, Shrimp and grits were tasty and all sides were delicious. Can't wait to return forbrunch or a daily special! Read more
Great place for brunch! Nice staff, fun atmosphere. The omelette was delicious with fresh ingredients and the grits were some... of the best I?ve had. The shop upstairs was fun, with lots of unique gifts and things for the kitchen. I?d definitely recommendchecking this place out. Read more
Read a lot of positive reviews about the place. Decided to visit it for brunch on an ordinary Sunday. Party of four, waited... about 40 minutes to get a table. Waited about 15 minutes at the table without a single person greeting us. Waitress finally gotthere and was nice, but looked frantic and overworked. Food came relatively quick, as a matter of fact, it beat the drink Iordered, their famous bloody mary, which if you're into bitter, you'll def like. Repeat, the food beat the drink to thetable. My kids said the breakfast wasn't anything special, borderline bland. My wife got the shrimp and grits and they looklike it was a layer of oil on top. The food was definitely not worth the wait. Not to rag too much on this place, but I havehad much, much better. Don't know why this was listed best breakfast in Raleigh. It's NOT. Read more

Loved this place! It has a southern, quirky feel. We parked in the back and entered through a downstairs exit and were seated... quickly. If you go on a rainy day, they seat people upstairs in the shop area which feels super special. That area can also berented out for baby showers, and other events. The upstairs is a shop that has extremely cute and fun products of every kind. They have fridges throughout with cakes, and jams. They have a kitchen section, stationary section, board game section, toysection, jewelry section and so much more! Each product feels hand-picked and thought-out and will make you fall in love orchuckle! The staff is very very conversational and friendly. The menu to me was really good. Not a lot to choose from but eachdish is thoughtfully chosen for the menu. My bf said it was just ok but I think he is crazy. Read more
I honestly can?t believe I haven?t been here sooner! It?s a former Piggly Wiggly grocery store turned into a hip restaurant and... shop. All the staff is super nice and the vibe is funky and chill. We ordered the pulled pork hash and chicken biscuits and bothwere awesome! Our server was friendly and she made sure everything was perfect. We also got a Bloody Mary and I can see why it?sso popular. They have a big table in the shop that overlooks the dining room which I intended reserve soon to enjoy a meal witha group of friends. This review is going long but I?d like to mention the shop with all its fun, eclectic items for sale. Ihighly recommend you go here because I?m sure you will love it. Read more
