When you walk in, the smells you encounter will let you know just how amazing the food is about to be. The staff is friendly... and welcoming. The dining area is clean and comfortable. The owners can tell you about the decor and teach you a little aboutEthiopia as well. This is not just great food, it?s a great dining experience. Go and experience the hospitality and cuisinefrom Ethiopia. You?ll leave satisfied. Read more

I have been wanting to visit Nafkot for a while, and finally made it today. The ambiance was beautiful and vibrant. The... waitress seemed to have slight challenges understanding me; however, we worked through that. I ordered the Nafkot Vegetariancombo ($13.99), my oldest son ordered the Rice & Chicken ($12.99), and my youngest ordered fries and the House salad (price notrelevant to this post). All of the food was delicious and service was good (my rating does not reflect those areas). When Ireceived the check, most of the food prices were $3+ more than what is listed on the menu and website. When I brought this tothe waitress's attention, she got, who I expect to be the manager, that came over. I was told that the menu item prices havechanged (more costly), due to the current state of the economy (cost of goods, etc.); however, these price increases were notreflected on the online or physical menu. I decided to not make a big issue, but informed him that those menus MUST reflect thecurrent prices been charged. Read more

First time eating in this establishment. Food was very good. Spicy in moderation. The tomato salad was excellent! Try an... Ethiopian beer if you never had one. The 'Meta' beer is very good. Good body with a hint of sweetness. Read more

This place is absolutely AMAZING! To start, when you walk in you are greeted by wonderful smells and a warm atmosphere. The... owner was very friendly and helped us order a family style dish that allowed us a tasting variety that was delicious. The ownereven answered our questions about Africa. What a great find. Ignore the fact it's in a shopping center. Very authentic looking inside. Our server was happy to explain... all the food and find something perfect for us. She also taught us the proper way to eat with our hands but I opted for a fork. They had Ethiopian Beer which helped add to the experience and my daughter had ginger tea that she now wants to make at home. Read more
