I've been coming to Lilly's since the 90s. Always fantastic experience. Love the pepperoni with chipotle peppers pizza. But... tonight I tried the caprese salad. And completely won me over. Helps me stay keto. I had to track down the salad maker to tellher how good her creation was. Glad to see this Five Points landmark is better than ever. Read more
Been here twice in the past two weeks. Got a small pizza initially with pineapple, it was great. Got the Nonna last night, also... great. The staff is quick, and they work so hard. The crust is amazing. So soft and pillowy and sweet. My only complaint wasthat on the Nonna, they put whole grape tomatoes on it. The tomatoes roll off and are tough to eat. I think they compliment thepizza well, but maybe just slice them in half or even quarters. You?ll use less tomatoes and then the pizza will be easier toeat. Read more
First time here. Small pizzas were perfect for two people to share or for a hungry teenager to demolish. The crust was perfectly... crispy and chewy and we loved the large selection of toppings and sauces. We?ll definitely try this place again. Read more
Why is everything so sweet?! The crust is so sweet it's reminds me of fried dough. The marinara is also super sweet and is that... cinnamon I taste? I assume the garlic knots are used from the same dough as the pizza crust but unfortunately that means they'resugary as well. How did this place win best pizza in NC? Read more
Pros: pizza was very good. We ordered a Super Duper and another pepperoni and onion pizza. The Super Duper was quite on the well... done side, bordering on burnt on the crust's edges. But they were both good. Cons: The service was outrageously bad. Taking theorder wasn't an issue. They were fairly busy for 12:00PM on a Sunday. However, once our order was taken and my wife and familyand I sat down, folks started showing up to pick up online orders and that's when their processes went into the tank. It took measking 3 times to get the drinks we ordered, 45 minutes to get our first pizza, and then another 45 minutes and me asking twicebefore we got our second pizza. That one was taken from a to go box and brought to our table. And all this was on top of theperson taking orders put a sign on the front door saying they were out of dough. They have THE BEST VEGAN PIZZA in the world - straight-up!!! They use vegan cheese, and have many veggies, and one or two veggie... based proteins to use if you'd like. Their crust is the best pizza crust ever and same with their red pizza sauce! Trust me!I've tried many different pizza placed whether its a Mom and Pops pizza place or a national pizza chain - Lily's Pizza won't letyou down. Lily's Pizza may look like a tiny, insignificant place, but there are delicious diamonds inside called pizzas. Ihighly recommend Lily's pizza whether you live in Raleigh locally (or somewhere near by), or if you are a vegan/vegetarianpassing through Raleigh for vacation or for business...or if you are hanging out with a vegan/vegetarian for a meal. First time here and we loved it. We will be back for sure. We walked in as a drive-by, and the person at the counter was very... nice and took time to answer questions. The pie was really good. We ordered 2 smalls (13 in) and we got a box for some leftovers. Read more
Terrible vibes at this place. It was unbelievably loud inside and outside. A photographer was meandering between tables, taking... 'pictures for the website,' and their kid was running around with a noisemaking toy the entire time. The pizza crust wasstraight up flavorless and the sauce did not help.
