Koi is our local sushi takeout spot, but we decided to try dining in tonight and we had an amazing experience! The vibe inside... is so peaceful and makes you forget you’re in Raleigh. The service is great and they have an excellent selection of sake andsushi. If you’re looking for a great date night spot that’s off the beaten path, then you should definitely stop in to Koiand enjoy the exceptional cuisine and ambiance by Chef Jason Chow! Read more

I got the chicken hibachi (teppanyaki style) with white rice and hot & sour soup, and an order of scallion pancakes to share. My... friend got the tonkatsu ramen with pork belly. Food was ready within 15 minutes and everything delicious and perfectly cooked. My only gripe is the hibachi was mostly vegetables??there were a few more pieces of chicken that I'd eaten before taking thepicture, but it didn't seem like a half pound as promised on the menu. I also wasn't asked if I wanted utensils/napkins and hadto go back inside for them. Read more

AN ABSOLUTE MUST VISIT. Was visiting Raleigh and stumbled upon this place, and so glad I did. From price to service to taste,... this is 5 stars in every way. They offer BOGO rolls which are affordable, fresh, and taste amazing. That’s not the best partthough. The owners made me feel like family. I felt more like I was over at a long time friend’s house for dinner than at arestaurant in a new city. Thank you guys! My only regret is that it’s too far from home to eat at weekly. Read more

Got the Peter Parker (left) and Sweet Dragon (right). Sweet dragon was great, really liked it. Peter Parker just didn’t do it... for me and the roll was really terribly done, so the sushi was falling apart and I ended up eating it like a rice bowl. Overallwould try again for some dishes but not top tier for me on a first visit. Read more

Great Sushi and service. They offer a BOGO sushi special and it includes the rolls on the back of their menu in addition to a... smaller menu with new options. The Crab Rangoon was perfect and we will definitely be back again. Read more

I genuinely don't understand how this place exists. This is by far the cheapest sit down restaurant I've been to in Raleigh.... Despite this the food is good and the portion sizes are pretty big. Their sushi was pretty standard but their Thai Basil wasdelicious and enough to feed someone for two meals. So yeah go here before they realize they can charge 20 percent more andstill be undervalued. Read more

This place blew us away when walking in. Decided to try this place after seeing in passing a few times. It is a wonderful little... hole in the wall restaurant with a beautiful atmosphere and amazing food. Tried the sushi, ramen, chicken, rice, and dumplings -all very delicious. Read more

Jason (owner and head chef) is AMAZING. I’ve been to plenty of sushi restaurants from Tokyo to Munich to New York, but this is... my favorite the world over. Jason pays incredible attention to detail, orders only the freshest, highest quality fish fromaround the world, and prepares his dishes with mesmerizing grace. Most importantly, he makes guests feel at home and lovestalking about his craft. Incredible sake selection and atmosphere too. Try to go at a less-busy time like a weekday lunch forthe best experience when Jason is the only one working. This is my new home away from home. Read more
