I have to edit my review because this place has changed its quality. I?ve been there at least 3 times since my review. I... understand the pandemic caused worker shortage but I?d gladly pay more for consistent quality and respect for the food. Versescheaper rice, salty food and inconsistent flavor ??. Original Review: This is one of the best Jamaican restaurant in theRaleigh. I ordered the Callaloo with a side of rice and peas and cabbage. A couple of plantains were included. Callaloo is avegetarian dish. I also got a plate of brown stew chicken with mac and cheese, rice and peas and cabbage. All of this foodwasn?t for me alone lol ???? but I also ordered a side of jerk chicken and the Coco bread ???? Everything was well seasoned anddelicious. The staff was kind and the restaurant was clean. Don?t be put off by the rough neighborhood. Support good businesseswith good food because they are dying breed but this place has been around for a while for reason. Lets keep it that way. Read more
This place is the best in the USA!! Seasoned to perfection.. Never cheated with just using leg quarters.. They use whole... chickens.. The pic don't reflex there quality because I ate out of them already before I decided to take pictures... Read the reviews but had to taste for myself. Good value for your money. Portions were good. Excellent Jerk Chicken and... Cabbage. Timing is everything. Caught the chicken very fresh from the grill. The chicken was well seasoned and falling off thebone. Cabbage was nicely done and not over cooked. Plantains nicely cooked and sweet. Will definitely be back to try more items.I will also try the other location . Would recommend. Quick service not crowded at all. Time was about 4:30 pm on Saturday. Read more
My family and I purchased several orders of oxtail rice peas and cabbage 8/11/2022. The food was disgusting which totally... suprised me I had never experienced eating watery rice the cabbage was bland and the oxtails were just spicy withoutseasoning I used to love Jerk Masters. I haven't had their food since the 2020. After this experience I will not spend my moneyin this establishment again. I'll go to NYC to experience real Authentic Caribbean Food Read more
