Went there last night around 9pm cause my pregnant bestie was craving your cookies. They were extremely busy but the guy at the... counter cleared the line very quickly. He was super nice and very professional even when a doordash driver was trying to yell athim while he was trying to take my order and letting me know what vegan cookies you were selling at the time. Any kid at NC State will tell you how good Insomnia Cookies are. They're so delicious that there is usually a line out the door... but it moves very fast. They have gluten free cookies too but you couldn't tell by the taste. I usually pick up a 6 pack when Igo! Also have gift certificates which make a great gift for an undergrad studying for exams. I always have a great experience at Insomnia Cookies on Hillsborough Street. I often get a late night craving and make the short... trip to this conveniently located cookie shop, as they are open until like 4am or something crazy. My favorite is a cookie-wich(pictured) which can include any cookie and any ice cream flavor. They also have giant cookie specials that are huge and stuffedwith things like Reese?s. They always keep them warm and if you go suuuper late they might even give you some leftovers forfree. Read more
Mint chocolate chip ice cream. I'll never change it up. But for the first time I added a chocolate chip cookie and a double... chocolate cookie. By far the best ice cream sandwich I've had. The cookies are warm and crispy and holds the ice cream reallywell. My partner got the dippers and was floored by the amount of buttercream icing. His mini cookies were the perfect amount ofcrunchy. The only place open after 10:30 last night. I was impressed though, as I ordered one of their boxes, asked if they could modify... it and they obliged. Maybe others weren't so lucky with the employees they dealt with, but I had no problem. I got exactly whatI wanted and the cookies were warm. One thing is that they didn't have milk? And it's prominently featured on the menu (milk andcookies, come on). Other than that, I asked for two flavors of ice cream in one cup and got it, and that ice cream, the cookiesand the brownie were fantastic. I definitely overate on this one!! The deserts were delightful and delicious! I had ice cream covered cookies! The line was long but the wait wasn't long. They... worked at a decent pace. Issues I saw where that most of their selection was out of stock and the male was quite rude and seemedto brush off any males asking questions about the menu while on the other hand making it his mission to be super attentive toany attractive female that came in (the gentleman in the attached pictures behind the counter).
