Reviews for Humble Pie in Raleigh, NC
Came in for an early dinner, around 530pm and we found easy parking in the self-pay lot. The restaurant has a very eclectic vibe... with lots of great art work. We sat at a table (not a booth) and our space was roomy we did not feel that we were sitting tooclose to other tables. The food service was quick and all our meals were fresh. We ordered brussel sprouts, green salad, tunatartar and crab claws; my favorite was the brussel sprouts and the greens salad. Portions are very generous and definitely"shareable". Had a great experience and enjoyed everything. Giving it 4 stars because I would have like to see a few more mealoptions to choose from on the menu and couple more dessert options. Overall would totally return. Thanks for the great dinner! Read more

My husband and I held our wedding welcome party and rehearsal dinner at Humble Pie and it was extraordinary. We received so much... great feedback from our guests who thought the food was absolutely delicious, and the service impeccable. Working with Jim andhis team felt effortless. They were incredibly accommodating and made sure the night was everything we wanted and more. Everysingle dish was excellent, especially the chicken and waffles, cauliflower mac and cheese, and brussels sprout. Jim's bartendereven created an awesome signature drink for us. Highly recommend this restaurant and venue that showcases a special part ofRaleigh's history and culture. Read more
My pictures are awful but for good reason. They have excellent outdoor seating with every table having its own overhead heat... lamp?hence the orange hue on all my pics. I am always frustrated when I come here that I don?t come here enough. They have someof the best comfort food in town. Their blue crab claws are a must and I have them every time I eat here. Outside of those, wehad the tuna tartare which comes with homemade pork rinds, their roasted brussel sprouts, fried oysters, and finished with theirflourless chocolate cake. Clearly I was so consumed with consuming, I failed to capture the Brussels and only did the crab andcake when there was literally one bite left. You have to give Humble Pie a try, especially if you are concerned about Covid asthey have one of the biggest and warmest outdoor seating offerings in Raleigh. Want to mix it up a little?start with a drink atBarcelona then walk one block to Humble Pie for dinner, and then back over near Barcelona to have a cup of coffee at Heirloom. Read more
Amazing. Delicious. Such a gem of a place! Perfect atmosphere: cozy and rustic but delicate vibe. Please pardon my carnage-only... pictures, I was so busy swimming in the magical spicy garlic butter soup with the crab claws that all logical thought to get?pre-devouring? pics was absent. Whatever you do, do NOT pass up on the crab. Nor the bread, say yes to all the bread! And dunkthat in the butter magic for the full gluttony experience. Also say yes to the brussels, to the oysters, to the tuna tartare! Iseriously doubt there?s something you won?t like. Then of course you?ll have absolutely noooo room for dessert. So what do youdo? You order dessert. The flourless chocolate slice of holymoly with a cup of hot coffee is everything you?ve been looking forto close your evening - silky, smooth, butter soft chocolate decadence with a hefty floof of whip cream. Heaven. The patio hasexcellent heaters, even when it?s cold it was plenty warm. The staff were charming and cheerful. Go here, don?t delay!! We can?twait to return! Read more
There is parking available in an adjacent lot after 6:00pm. We selected Humble Pie as it was listed as one of the best places to... eat outside in Raleigh. Reservations are done by email, but if you want to dine in the covered outdoor patio you MUST state thatin your reservation. This fact we discovered last evening at 6:00pm. At that time, there were over a dozen available tables, butwe were told that the area was full. When we left an hour later 25% were still empty. Our server explained the a la carte menuto us and told us that the portions were large enough to be shared by the dinner guests. This was NOT true. The bread order($4.00) was 2 slices of bread cut in half. The steak tacos ($24.00) were three of the smallest tacos I have seen. The salad($10.00) could not be shared by more than 2 people. The entrees that we did get were delicious. The server left the menu behindfor those who wanted to order more food. Both couples ordered more items. With all the great restaurants in Raleigh, this is notone that we will return to. Read more
Work holiday meal served here on a Friday night! Would visit again to try other foods. It was only Our crew with no other... customers (at least 50 people) Our foods to choose from were on a buffet style - included meatballs, breaded chicken bites, breaded oulysters, roasted brussel sprouts, Mac n cheese, tartare dip and fresh baked pita style chips. For my personal review, the brussel sprouts were my favorite along with the freshly baked pita chips. The staff is amazing to serve while we were admistour celebration. They have a bar to order drinks. It's a cozy feel with room throughout. There is a modern industrial feelinside with heaters overhead outside the covered seating area. Read more
