Reviews for Goodnights Comedy Club in Raleigh, NC
Love the comedians.. but why does the staff seem so miserable? Dude at the box office was rude to a lady in front of me. Dude... seating us acted like we were putting him out. I'm coming back because the acts are good as well as the drinks. Hope the staffis in a better mood. If they are I will update my review. Read more
Love Goodnights! They have a great variety of comedians from all walks of life. We just saw Randy Feltface, the show was... hilarious! The headliner shows are the best, but they also have amateur nights if you're looking for a cheaper option. Thetickets are not crazy expensive though. The old location was really charming, but the temporary location at the old K&W isworking really well. I love comedy and I am so glad Raleigh has a place like this. Highly recommend! Read more
Overall a fun place. I was expecting food served inside/delivered to your table but it's (different nightly?) food trucks. The... email I received with the ticket numbers included a menu, but I believe thats no longer valid. Minor inconvenience as we wereexpecting to eat here but we ended up finding a great restaurant that was still open after the show. Seating arrangements areabove average compared to other venues I've been to - there's actually space to get up and use the bathroom or whatever withoutinconveniencing at least 30 people and the chairs are comfortable. Drink prices are SKY HIGH. *Wooo* My lord. 2 people, 3 doublemixed drinks, over $60. I paid less for the show. Now for why the star was removed - the first 2 drinks came out almost halfway through the show. The third drink came almost at the end. Come on now, if we wanted to have some drinks at the end of theshow we would've waited to get home or gone to a place after that doesn't charge $16+ per drink. Read more
Great night!! All three guys last night were funny as hell! Shapel Lacey worked the crowd and kept it rolling. Waitstaff did... great! The guy at will call welcomed us and shared information. We drove 1 1/2 hours and we will plan another trip soon. Read more
A great comedy venue in downtown Raleigh. This was one of the last shows in their old location. Good service, strong drinks,... classic comedy venue vibes. Read more
The show we went to on a Saturday night had a great turn out and the acts were definitely entertaining. However, be warned that... if you come even a few min before the show starts you are asked to wait downstairs in a bar area (which does NOT count towardsthe two item minimum), then when they call the show, everyone rushes for the stairs in disarray. Very absurd process. Wefigured it?s a minor nuisance for most people but still not a tasteful marketing tactic? Read more
All in all, this was a great date night! The size of this place is perfect! Small enough to still feel connect to the... entertainment but not too small that you feel like you HAVE to react to them to keep the show going haha we did not get reservedseating and we were placed in the back, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The wait staff had great timing! They came around and gotour drink and food order. It came out very timely as well! We had the mozzarella sticks and pretzel bites. Both were crispy andbar quality so I had no complaints :) The drinks were tasty too! (Though we already had a buzz going prior to arrival so Icannot speak on the alcohol strength) Read more
Went to see Robyn Schall last night! She was fantastic! Club is just a temporary location while the new one is being built. It... was a good setup, and the staff was excellent. Everyone from the front door to the ladies who were serving was so friendly andpleasant. A drink menu was available, and you could bring your own snacks. Plus, I got to meet Robyn afterward! Read more
