6 months ago me and my husband came here for the 1st time in the daytime,it was extremely busy and we had never eaten Jamaican... food before but we were extremely rushed to order so we just walked out with not even ordering. This evening I passed by theremyself and although each person working there was attentative when not on their cell phones(men) I seen on their daily specialscurry shrimp,upon placing my order he asked me "do I want it spicy" and I said NO only a little bit. That was literally all Iordered with a side of MacNCheese which is to die for,so amazing but they only had 2 slivers of it in the Pan.1 hour and 1/2until closing so there is no reason why there should not have been another Pan prepared.If you see in the picture this is thesmall piece that I got for $4 now that is just insane although delicious I come to you guys because I personally don't know howto cook MacNcheese worth of s***. So me starving and had not ate all day I was so excited to get home but just one bite ofshrimp put my mouth on fire it was extremely spicy so I'm not sure why I had the option for it to be NOT spicy if they were justgonna cook it how they always cook it so therefore I was not able to eat it at all. I've tried different Oxtails around NC Carib Restaurants & Golden Crust makes the best Oxtials ? I've had since New York,... unless I make it myself ????????????? lol. Delicious Jamaican food! Golden Krust is clean and the food is amazing. They have a lot of choices. You can see many of the menu... options on the hot bar which is great for people who have never tried Jamaican food before. Charmaine and team are incrediblywelcoming and kind.
