Love this place for great Mexican food and good margaritas. We've been coming here since we moved to the Wakefield area over... 2yrs ago. On Tuesdays they do have 1.25 tacos either soft or hard. ???????? Today I had a fajita taco salad andy husband hadACP he loves it here. I had a strawberry mango margarita. Decided to order flan from this place since it's close by and I've always wanted to try flan. First one I received did not look... pleasing (almost crusty) and the taste wasn't any better. One bite instantly filled my mouth with a noticeable salsa taste. I goback with a friend and get a new one. The second one actually looks nice! Chocolate syrup, whipped cream around it, and a cherryon top. Much better presentation, but once again had a noticeable salsa taste, only not as strong this time due to the othercondiments. Food was good but service was lacking. My server (MR) spent more time asking about my job and hair than actually serving us.... Watched other servers do a great job. After waiting about 15-20 minutes for her to check on us and order fried ice cream (son'sfirst; he was excited), I asked another server and watched him tell her... 15 minutes later she sent another server over to ask"Did you order ice cream?" (I could see her just remember and go to the back to prepare...) After 30 minutes of waiting, werequested the check. Very unfortunate first visit. I get pandemic issues, but this was not the case... I really appreciate the ease of online ordering and picking up at the drive-thru window. However, I had the pleasure of dining... in with my family recently. Great neighborhood spot! Friendly staff, authentic decor from Mexico. The food was so fresh and made with few ingredients- You... could really enjoy the flavors. The fresh guacamole was probably the best that I?ve ever had- so delicious. There was just theright amount of cilantro and lime- it was so savory! We never leave a Mexican restaurant without enjoying fried Ice cream!!! Itwas a little different than we?re use to, but just as good! I?ll definitely have it again. Read more
