It was very good. The food was a little pricey but a lot of things have gone up in price lately. They enjoyed our story about... the restaurant we left earlier to come there, (Chili's). Couldn't believe what we told them but tried make up for it with greatservice and good food, and they succeeded! Read more
Man behind the counter couldn't have cared less about his customers, he stood behind the counter pretending to be busy,... occasionally looking up at me. That went on for 4 or 5 minutes. Finally I ordered brisket and ribs. The man said that hedidn't know if there were any ribs. He checked. He said it would be 14 minutes and asked if I didn't mind waiting. At thatpoint I'd waited long enough. Once I went to an a&w and ordered a root beer float. I was told they were out of root beer. They were closed for good within a month. If this place doesn't get some new management I suspect this store will follow suit. Read more
Today I was at one of my favorite BBQ places in Raleigh, NC. A customer in line in front of me had a complicated request for her... order as she wanted to pay with two cards. The customer made a scene that was completely uncalled for and I say all that to saythat the staff here was extremely polite and professional through the incident. They also worked as a team to fix the issue inorder to quickly move the line along and have the unruly customer on there way. Overall experience here was great customerservice. I had a chance to speak with the owner as well to let him know how professional and quickly his staff was to fix theproblem! Keep up the good work Dickies Glenwood Ave! Read more
Friendly service, good food, and convenient location. The fried okra is cooked through with lots of delicious, crispy... breading. The pulled pork was just slightly dry, but had lots of flavor and paired well with their sauces. The sweet sauce isamazing; it has smokey flavors with a delicious maple syrup background. Read more
My boyfriend and I eat here about once a week and let me tell you, Dickey?s never lets us down. The staff is super nice and... complimentary. Thee food is just exactly what you?d expect from a warm place like this one: fresh, well seasoned, and tender!!The pulled pork and brisket sandwich plates are two of our favorites. My wife and i decided to stop in for lunch. Overall, it turned out to be an average visit. On a positive note, the staff is... very nice and helpful. The store is kept clean. Although COVID restrictions have been lifted, tables are still spaced, which isnice. The food is good. Today we got the pulled pork and brisket. The brisket was very tender and tasty. The pulled pork was alittle dry, almost inedible without adding some sort of sauce. The prices are high. I ordered The Westerner, a sandwich withtwo meats and two sides. The cost was USD14.00 which is higher than expected for the quantity and quality of food. Read more
Noticed Dickey's was here and stopped in for dinner. The staff was friendly and helpful. She ordered the pulled pork and I got... the Wednesday Daily Special. The meats were well cooked tasted okay. The barbecue sauce was quite good. The sides (potato saladand mac n cheese) tasted like standard catering fair that you could buy at any grocery store. Overall it was an okay dinner.
