Our first time here. The service was absolutely amazing! The waitress was very helpful and knowledgeable. We had everything from... appetizers to dessert. The ricotta appetizer was delicious. The monk fish was out of this world. The steak ... Whoa! How aboutwe settle down a little bit on the salt situation. Entirely too salty, and the meat was chewy. Totally expected a betterexperience with this dish. The biscuits were divine, the cauliflower was delicious. Topped it off with delicious desserts andyummy decaf coffee. Absolutely amazing. We loved the focus on each ingredient. The menu was truly "seasonal" and makes us want to return to... Raleigh and eat here to experience each season. We are from Richmond, VA and admittedly spoiled by a great food scene so wewere so impressed to find this spot in Raleigh. Not only was the food DELICIOUS but the service was exceptional. Cindy was awonderful server and the bar staff was also attentive. Wonderful cocktails and fabulous wine pairings. We will be telling ourfriends to drive from Richmond to eat here. Crawford and son is not only a top restaurant in Raleigh, but one of the best in the country. Intimate seating, tasty menu... items, and really good drinks. Some of my favorites are the beef cheeks, crudo, beef tar tar(best in the business). I have notordered a dish here and been disappointed. Great for any occasion. Must go to in Raleigh. Read more

Good atmosphere, with good service. A foodie spot for sure. The biscuits are amazing! I would go back just for the... biscuits. The pork chop was a generous portion, cooked to a precise temperature. The food preparation was legit. My onlycomplaint is the menu was too limited. Read more

I could die a happy woman after our meal and experience this evening. Everything was packed with flavor and had the perfect... balance of comforting flavors with unexpected twists. Excellent service and atmosphere. This place is worth every penny and fivestar review that has been given. We sat at the bar and our server, Jordan, was attentive and personable. The crudo withbuttermilk ice was so inventive, refreshing and set the tone for everything else that followed. The BB King was quite possiblythe best bourbon drink I've ever had. Read more
After reading other reviews I went into this experience with high expectations. I expected great service and even greater food.... Sadly I can?t quite say that we got either?well at least not in entirety. Immediately our initial interactions with our waitresswas incredibly awkward. I mean?so awkward that my partner and i couldn?t help but ask each other if that interaction wasstrange. Our drinks were fine. The biscuits were probably the best part of the meal and then the dessert. I had the Denver steakwhich was just ok, and my partner ordered the duck special the waitress told us about. Sadly he didn?t even get to try itbecause the waitress put in for the wrong duck dish. Overall to prevent a long winded bashing?the food was mediocre at best, andthe service we had that evening was just incredibly uncomfortable. Read more
