We were here last night while on vacation and had a combo of crawfish, shrimp, and snow crab in the Boom (kitchen sink) sauce.... Absolutely fantastic! The flavor was everything we were craving and the hush puppies were perfect for soaking up the sauce. Alsothe service was excellent; our waitress, another waitress and even the guy at the host stand all checked briefly to see how wewere enjoying the food/drinks. We felt so welcomed! We dropped in for a quick appetizer before an event just to grab some oysters. We had half a dozen raw oysters, half a dozen... steamed oysters with boom sauce, and half a dozen steamed scallops with boom sauce. I would love for the oysters to be localsince we are in local oyster season; however, the northeast oysters were fresh and sweet. It hit the spot and the bloody Marywas perfect! Read more
Simply delicious!!! We didn?t plan to come to Crafty crab but found it after our planned restaurant was closed for Thanksgiving.... We order the fried plates. Crab cakes came with a remoulade sauce. The fried oysters were some of the best according to my son.I had the fried talapia and shrimp. All was fried and seasoned perfectly. The corn with the garlic sauce was another deliciousaddition to our meal. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was just as nice. We didn?t try to boil crab and lobster since wenormally are not fans of that but we may come back to try it. Definitely will be back. Read more
The food at this place was outstanding! Everything was on point. My wife and I shared a fried shrimp basket w/fries and the... headless shrimp special which included crab legs, a generous portion of shrimp (although I was not particularly crazy aboutshelling my own shrimp but hey, I chalked it up to part of the dinner experience), andouille sausage, potatoes and corn on thecob. Everything was seasoned in a mixture of three savory butter sauces called "the boom" which was also exceptional. Priceswere reasonable. I loved this place the food was superb the taste of the Boom was super yummy and spicy even my boyfriend who is super picky when... liking spicy Mexican seafood liked it. The staff was super nice and courteous that make my special mini event be something toremember. I am hoping to bring my mom and having try the perfect super crispy battered shrimp. It was a Queens birthday and my food was quick fresh and so good. Shirt staffed far as waitresses but my drinks were strong.
