I understand that they?re really busy and trying to get orders out as fast as possible, but I so wish that this Cookout knew the... difference between a cheese and chicken quesadilla. I?ve been a vegetarian for two years now and this is the third time I?veordered a cheese quesadilla from here, confirmed it on the order ticket, and by checking the actual food as best as I can in thecar before pulling off?and it?s had some chicken in it and has gotten me sick. This is my go to late night spot whenever I'm hungry. If you take consideration of how EXTEMELY BUSY this place can get, they... handle it as good as they can. IMO they need a bigger location with more space because the lines can & WILL get backed updepending on the time. And as others have said the drive thru intercom is trash, it needs to be replaced. This place is close so it?s convenient to go to when we want something cheap, but I don?t think we?ve ever gone and gotten an... order completely correct. I just tried to order a chocolate Oreo shake and a side order of fries, but when I get home and check(yes, I should have checked before leaving the window) and ended up with a regular Oreo shake and a burger. The foods stillgood, but it?s just annoying to always go through and find things missing or done incorrectly. Read more
My boyfriend and I frequent this location for its convenience and close proximity to our home, however, today we had by far the... WORST experience ever. We pulled into one of the lanes that seemed to have the least amount of cars thinking that it would be aquick and easy ordering process. It took about 15 minutes to get through the ordering process despite the fact that there wasonly 2 cars in front of us with small orders. When it came time for us to order we had the hardest time ordering even though ourorder was simple. We ended up repeating ourselves five or six times and still had to keep correcting the employee when theyrepeated the order back. While we were ordering, we noticed that the other lane had at least 10 cars order and move forward. Itthen took us another 10 minutes to actually get our food. All in all we spent 25 minutes in the drive-thru that wasn't actuallybusy which is nearly double the time it usually takes us. When we finally got home to eat, I was beyond disappointed with what Ifound in my box. The chicken wrap clearly was haphazardly thrown together. There was very little sauce on it and the chickentender was a chicken patty that was merely cut in half. The usual melty and delicious cheese was barely melted and the tortillawas raw whereas normally it is cooked. The burger looked like it had half a patty and was so poorly assembled that it wasliterally falling apart. The steak sauce that was supposed to be on it was all over the wrapper and barely any of it wasactually on the sandwich. The tomato on my boyfriend's sandwich tasted like it had already begun to rot. So I would give 5 stars for the accuracy and promptness with receiving our food. I REALLY wanted to like this place, as our... family and friends raved about the food..... It was blah. I appreciate the burgers are fresh and grilled, but no flavor. Nosalt, pepper, spices, nothing ????. I had a Cheddar Cookout burger, and even the cheese was flavorless. I also ordered a smallCookout burger for my 7 yr, who's really plain with her burgers and she said "Really Mommy", that's it... If I were coming froma hard night of partying, bar hoping, etc, I will go back, but I'm sorry, this was a disappointment. Oh, the onion rings andshakes are GOOD. Now don?t get me wrong I love Cook-Out! But this location just can?t get it right. This is the FOURTH time I?ve gotten my order... wrong. After being asked to repeat myself 5 times, you would think it is understood. We sat in the drive-thru for 30 minutesthis afternoon to have our order completely wrong. Not worth driving back. We both order double chili cheese dog trays. We got 4chili dogs all made a different way. She asked us at the window if we needed any sauce or ketchup and we said yes, and asked forhoney mustard. She didn?t put anything in the bag and just handed it to us. The fries are stale and cold, they gave my friendonly 4 cheese bites(one was just batter), and the corn dog was burnt but yet cold!? I literally had the best experience I've ever had with a cookout today. I went through the drive-thru about 5 minutes ago around... 3:15 p.m. and the young lady instantly remembered me and I have not been to cook out in months. She was still super friendly sheremembered the condiments I used and did everything with a smile and a perky attitude. Y'all need to 1. keep her. And 2. Giveher a raise.
