Probably the best customer service experience while eating out I?ve had in the last year. Polite older black guy outspoken, then... a polite well spoken young black guy with dreads.. The service was like some Chick-fil-A like service but more personable. Graywas the guy that helped us. You would think he owned the place the way he confidently explained and answered our questions. Very tasty, had the ?more cowbell? Turkey sandwich, green beans and potato salad. The sandwich dipped in their brush fire sauce... was great! My only beef was the size of the sandwich. Eat in, Dine outdoors, or pickup, you decide, the meals are fantastic ??! Our meal included a full rack of ribs, collar... greens, French fries, corn bread, and toasted bread. And a container of peach cobbler....talking about good ????. It made mySweetheart break her diet...not much but enough for her to sneak a couple extra forks full in the kitchen. I got a full rack ofribs...need I say why...okay...if you haven't been there...here's why! They are sooooooo good. Nice and tender, finger lickinggood. Overpriced and very small portions. I have eaten at City Barbecue in another town and it was much better and bigger portions.... Not sure what the difference is? But $17.99 for what you see in the photo and I had water to drink that's just ridiculous. Youcan have a good meal at a lot better restaurant for that kind of money and you want have to wait on yourself or clean the tablewhen you leave. Read more

The staff were pleasant and attentive..the looks of this new store are appealing ...BUT....I have to say...this is the most... disappointing meal I ever had at City BBQ... The brisket, as noted in my pictures, are over cooked and dried out .. the 3 ribswere equally over cooked and dry...resulting in little actual meat regardless of appearance.... I needed to actually use thebbq sauce to finish eating...what ever the reasons it needs to be dealt with or they will lose allot of loyalcustomers...including me .. Read more
This is the worst I?ve ever had. Every time I come up here for training I go to city bbq but after tonight not again. Staff... wasn?t friendly . I ordered 2 meet plate and The cook looked like he threw in some old meet on the grill for less than 10seconds . I guess to heat it up but all he did was make harder to eat the sausage doesn?t even looked cooked so he put on somegrill marks. Order a lolos pulled pork and got no coleslaw. .
